While I appreciate your efforts here, I query your statement that "you pioneered" this system. Certainly this is the first time I've seen this in G scale - however, in HO scale an almost identical system has been running for years. The Faller Car System also uses magnetic steering and reed switches. Some have added lights and a form of digital control as well.
all that effort and you dont fix a buckled front wheel? very cool thought, must be one of a kind not running on tracks or slots. just needs a little tweeking, good luck.
