  • Great job on the review! Thanks for investing the time and sacrificing the $5 to preview it. Sucks that there are no sound effects (only music), but still a decent time killer for $5. Look forward to more of your reviews; brief and informative, keep them coming.

  • R.I.M are you there??? Can't you listen. We need monkey ball and final fantasy 13 on our bb's not street fighter nes 8bit version.

  • Lol, you've got to be kidding me, someone please tell RIM that it's 2010 not 1995.

  • @Truepcgamer should classic, enjoyable games be forgotten because technology has advanced?

  • @BrianMajor No, but this isn't an accurate translation of that classic game, which is now 15 years old. Portable technology capable of running the original game has existed for quite some time now, and pretty cheaply I might add, while this is a sluggish port of the Game Boy Color version, hardware that was outdated in 2001. Other phones are certainly capable of running the arcade version and there's no reason Blackberries couldn't benefit from the extra power as well, business devices or not.

  • @sethsez the gameboy color version of street fighter alpha looks nothing like this. The mechanics might be borrowed from this game but the sprites on the blackberry version are much cleaner. Yes, other phones are capable of running the game but this is a review of the blackberry version of the game. You might want to speak to capcom about porting it to your smartphone if they haven't done so already. It would be great to see a faithful port of alpha on a more capable device.
