Peter, to me YouTube is the same. Most of my original subs are still around and have matured to making better videos with better cameras. Some have fallen by the wayside but I have found new ones to take their place. Of course there is a ton of dross that was not there before, but I happily ignore that. Some I greatly miss, but as you say, things move on. It will always be the same to me while you are still there to take me back to those halcyon days of yore.

Congrats! I've been in radio broadcasting for over 20 years and I have been #1 in radio. Back in the day I would try and tell people on here once you're on the top you have no place to go but down. They would make rude comments about that, and I look at them now and they are small peas on here. It's so hard to keep things fresh & new. But just keep on going!

I think there would be many more subscribers out there, but most just don't know you! It's not that youtube changed so much that people just don't like you anymore or anything! I think it's just because they haven't discovered you yet - I think there are many (especially young) youtubers out there, who'd love to have a "youtube-granddad" :)
