tgm doesn't have a model. just imperatives and essentials. it seems everybody who can play good golf is suddenly stack and tilt. i don't think so.............
I wish all the people who post on these sites would do a little research before they come out with spurious accusations and wildly inaccurate information. Andy and Mike have taken information from the Golfing Machine(a fact they have acknowledged) and researched some of the most EFFECTIVE swings of the BEST ball strikers, it is no coincidence that many top players display movements prescribed in the Stack and Tilt pattern as it is not as heretical as most would have you believe.
Brian Gay has a shiftless hip turn and a flat left foot action so to the untrained eye (like the guy who posted the video) it looks like a stack and tilt.
I love this guy's swing. so simple, hits the ball on a string. I could only imagine if this guy was in the top 50 of driving distance he'd be a force to reckon with
He swings like Gary Edwin's right sided swing, but thought by Lynn Blake,no lateral movement in the swing, leads to exceptional accuracy and compression,he straighten's his legs to create leverage/power from the ground, plus when the left leg extends it allows the right side of his body to clear, check out Pamplings move, very similar. This is the easiest way to hit a ball straight and hard.
@timc424 lol your an idiot just like everyone else that sees someone stay on there left side and call out hey hey hey thats stack and tilt next you will be saying tiger woods is using stack lol o wait people are already doing that
@broth518 tommy amour took stuff from s and t , his swing is now different then what it was before like last year or before last year, mike wier also takes stuff from s and t hes not fully on the swing
brian gays uses the golf machine not stack and tilt. stack and tilt is the biggest gimmick ever in golf. notice how no one that uses stack is on any leaderboards. there the ones going home on fridays. but nice try dude pay attention more lynn blake is his teach check it out
im well aware he works with lynn, very smart guy too. im just showing how the golfing machine model has changed. and if you knew a little bit more, you can see how his right leg straightens and he weight is slightly left. also how he pushes off the ground through the ball to create power
TGM doesn't have a model. Hitting requires an angle of approach procedure which best goes with hip slide. That hip action is best used with standard knee action. That's why he does what he does.
@ssgolf37 pushes off the ground to create power? he is the shortest guy out there and plus he has straightened his right leg since he was little. sorry stack and scramble are trying to claim everyone cause that swing is dead
@kjackboy1 Brian Gay is not SnT nor does anyone claim he is. If you knew anything about the golf swing you would see that many of the great players have components of SnT, like Furyk , Woodland, Shwartzel, Kaymer, etc. But seeing how you don't know anything about any swing, you wouldn't know. Thanks for posting.
@qtong1320 you act like stack and tilt has been around since the 60's you fucking dumb ass. If you knew anything about the golf swing you would know that components of stack and tilt came from a bunch of different styles of golf swings. good try to bash bud but go fuck yourself and better luck next time
@kjackboy1 Thanks for saying what I said in a different way. Let me clarify, all good players have good pieces that snt would prescribe anyways. And you're absolutely right, SnT came from many golf swings of some of the best players.
Uses the Golfing Machine!??! WTF? Are you serious? TGM IS NOT a method!
The Stack and Tilt is a composite of moves and positions that have been used to win hundreds of tournaments and dozens of majors for decades. This guy Sean Foley is poaching S&T but doesn't call it that. Yet he is immune from the criticism. Mahan. O'hair, Ames, etc are all working with Foley. Faldo LOVES Foley but hates Plummer and Bennett. Yet it's the same swing!! What a douch bag Faldoink is!
@AWOLgolf yup the golf machine if you know so much about the stupid swing read up on homer kelley, mike and his sidekick stole alot from that guy and than made a swing that cant win on tour congrats lol faldo may be a dbag but the guy knows what he is talking about foley teaches some mechanics from the golf machine not stack and tilt
@kjackboy1 On a final note, the S&T has been responsible for 9 tour wins in the past 3 years. There isnt one technique in any sport that will make an athlete great as a technique is only meant to improve an athletes chances of success and steer him in the right path. The rest involves mental toughness and natural physical ability. If you look up the S&T website Dustin Johnson used it in 2006 and almost won the US open and PGA this year. If you examine his swing its very similar to the S&T.
@Gyro911 wow ignorance is flowing on youtube when it comes to people acting like they know anything about a golf swing. Homer Kelley would be rolling over in his grave because fag mike and fag andy the "swing whisperers" took all the glory from the golfing machine please before you act like you know research please. True Stack and Scramble players havent won on tour hardly who Aaron Badds? o and he quit them lol
@kjackboy1 What point are you trying to make here? he's got the stack and tilt swing going and 20 PGA pro's use it so its not a gimmick. When you qualify for the the PGA tour then i'll take your opinion seriously. I dont think you even know what the stack and tilt involves. Your probably one of those ignorant fools who thinks you have to put all your weight on the front foot and pivot off it during the back and down swing. GO learn what the S&T is before you spew your ignorance.
@Gyro911 how many wins on tour does a true stack and tilt player have? Aaron Badds won but he was still in transition to the stack and when he committed all the way well lets just say he quit andy and mike so yeh its a gimmick keep acting like you know what your talking about

@ssgolf37 Totally agree that he is keeping his weight more left, and using the ground (crushing the soda can) for leverage. Excellent analysis.
