@jaybee10015 This is the notice I placed on my channel about six months ago: NOTICE: I no longer live in Hawaii and do not plan any future updates to this channel.
@PeacepupWebkinz You can feel very intense radiant heat, specially on exposed skin and you have to move back after a few seconds. Ironically, this is what makes lava very safe to watch because the heat keeps people at a safe distance.
Thank you for your posts. The documentation you have collected is truly beautiful and inspiring . I am a friend of Paddy Daly, had been to visit the shelterpod before it was taken, and we had built an additional shelterbooth structure there together last year, which has since also been taken by the lava. I live on the mainland, and I greatly appreciate your photos and videos - it's like instant time/space travel to that awesome place. Thank you again for sharing your footage.

ever seen anyone touch it?
tech4156 7 months ago
@tech4156 It's almost impossible to get that close. The radiant heat on your exposed skin tells your body to run away.

great photage. how did you resist poking the flow with a long stick???
Cavepear 8 months ago
@Cavepear I've done my share. Usually lava is flowing over other recent flows and there are no sticks around.
