If you pay attention to what he's saying - about fighting - the context IS clear.

Nobody wanted to fight GSP, so "I think we're all friends today."

The word is FRIENDS - the way he pronounces it - NOT "French".

Georges isn't French, for starters. He speaks it, but he's Quebecois / Canadian.

The director has a loose way of speaking and other words are indistinct, too.

There's also the context of what is being said. That's matters. The director asks if anyone wants to fight Georges. No? "I think we're all FRIENDS today." / we're not fighting.

The clip also wants to end on a positive note, hence the reference to being FRIENDS.

Regardless of what you thought you heard, the context of "French" makes no sense.

It has neither relation to anything going on at the time, nor to anything else that had been said.
