It's synthpop... It's a little more rock oriented than their previous albums, hence the album cover. But if anyone knows anything about Apop's previous albums they'd know that Apop likes to make each album have a distinct sound to it. Take Harmonizer and You and Me Against the World for example. Two completely different sounds.

Perhaps the best song off the Rocket album, they need to stay more dark wave... this style suits them so well, but truly it's a damn fine track. I reckon that Shadow will remain a sweet tune, regardless. <3

@llamallamallamas they are still APOP and there isnt a band that sounds like them.. they still got the electronics in their music ..just because its not EBM or industrial doesnt meant its not good..I can bet u they will go back to their old stuff on the next album or at least close to harmonizer..bands always do this they get bored from writing same things and same sound all the time.

One of my favorite Songs of the Album "Rocket Science". It has a fantastic Retro-Flair. I Love the Album, the sound of Apop is always new. And some of the lyrics are great! "Pleased to meet you, we came to drop bombs on you..." Funny, intelligent and ironic :-)
