There is a difference between "hate" and "attraction". If a guy happens to be attracted to a woman of a particular look, there is nothing wrong with that. Like if an Asian woman just doesn't turn him on, that's fine. Women do prefer taller guys in general, and you're right, it is shallow. Inter-ethnic(we are all the same race) dating is not about self hate all the time. It's about common interest such as who you have the best sex with and who you are most comfortable around. I think this video is just to show how hypocritical asian american women are when they view their counterparts. If they even consider dating AA men they take into all the negative views of society and impose those restrictions on them. I think this comes in part due to our society's xenophobia and anti china propaganda as well as hollywoods emasculating of asian men. Then when it comes to men of any other race they just don't go for it.

Shylildude, this is not an act. They are clearly being ironic. I think that they are trying to show how harsh and judgmental Asian American men can be. When they want to make out with the Mexican guy, they are admitting that many Asian American women are really biased against Asian men and are blind to their own prejudice. The women in this video are pointing out the problems of communication within the Asian American community. At least that's my interpretation.

I think the video got it's point across about how shallow and superficial asian american women are in the US particularly. These are the type of asian women who wouldn't give an average asian brother the time of day yet they'll downgrade to a garbage man or a loser as long as he's white. I'm just so disgusted by some of our asian women and their attitude.

I live in CAli. Over half of the students in my school are asian and i goto a school where thousands of people attend. I'm asian. Most asains date asians period. For women the rate is 10% (at the Most) when it comes to dating outside. They are the largest group dating out of their race, but it's not as big as people make it seem. As far as im concern most azn women i know say they prefer asian men to any other race.

I interpret this video to be Asian women expressing their annoyance with their dating choices being attacked and questioned by Asian men.
Fair enough, but they really have not responded to the criticisms that Asian women face.
