First, the auction of the orange SNICK couch (very late 90's), the axe of SNICK in general (2001-2003), the dismantling of Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando (2004), the cancellation of Nick Mag (2009), and the replacing of the splat logo (2009-2010). The only thing "Nick" left, besides a return of Rugrats (and even then, it is post-Dil episodes, and is only on to promote the 20th anniversary and the possible creation of a live-action version), would be the jingle.

Its too bad Doo-wop was deprecated from pop charts for music made after the mid-60s.

Maybe we should either go back to doo-wop or find a new style of music for the 2010s to go on the pop charts, and see if it will steer clear of hip hop or R&B marketing altogether.
