Starving at a feast is the way i see the world. Thentire world is starving and the entirety of the infinity is a natural feast. There is so much empty space in a single persons life, it cannpt be ever fulfilled. Now multiply that empty space by the total populaton of earth. I reduced my entire world to one intersection, and still, there is more empty space than i will ever fill in. I shall not want for the rest of my days.
Is the song she performs here titled "Wings of Angels"? If so, if anyone out there know where I can find this song on one of her albums, please inform me where I can find it. Thank you!
I love you Judy. You have what I call "emotional intellegence". I'm am so sorry for your loss. There isn't a parent in the world and no matter how it happens, will ever be ready for a loss of a son or daughter. I think if people would just listen to this interview, like we listened to your music, THIS WOULD DO MIRACLES FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN ALIKE. THANKS LOVE!
You are a great woman, Judy. I have albums of your dating back to the late 70s. Now I understand why you performed one of the best versions of the Jacques Brel Classic "Sons of...". Thank you for being you.
I saw her 2 days ago at the Carlyle in New York. My God what a performance, what a lady! She worked so hard to give something to us. Many songs. A night I will never forget. I can honestly say that she is more beautiful than ever before and that voice is perfect, strong and agile. She said something funny in intro of her musicians ect. She thanked them for helping her sound like Judy Collins.God bless this great woman.
@FLOUNDERDIGEST It seems to me, she enjoys her knowledge of music as much as we enjoy watching and listening to her. As a minor musician myself, i find this to eb more important than fame or fortune. it works for me.
@radiowwww Thanks. Your comment has returned me to hearing again this extraordinary exchange between two special people both coping with skeletons in the closet. Their candour and can do attitude is a guide to the healing of deep wounds that are disguised by the expression, "Into every life a little rain must fall."
Re priority of delighting in the act of making music over seeking fame and fortune: the renowned acting trainer, Stanislavski said,"Love the art in you, not you in the art."
She is an example of very good plastic surgery. She still looks like Judy Collins. Unlike Baez, she still has an excellent voice.

I remember him when he was a skinny teen. He just wanted to be a normal kid, not the son of a star. A lot of weight comes with fame.

Her voice is still so pure. How can you not reach out to a woman who has experienced what is the profound loss in life.. the death of a child.
Wings of Angels.. Tears of Saints.
