Poor little rat! So cute but it died... *hugs* It's hard to lose rats. My first one died when I was 2 and a half and it was by acident. My bigger brother did it I forgoot how tho. I do remember it was an acident.
the fact that it is pink makes me think that your vet probably added a bit of flavoring to the meds. If he has trouble breathing, you can go to the bathroom and run a hot shower, the steam will help him alot. I hope your munchin feels better soon!

Aww, thats sad that he died because he was really cute and looked very friendly. I know how hard it is when they die - my pet hamster, Shanghai had been sick for about 5 months and I kept giving her medicine and sometimes she would be just fine and the next day she would be sick again. On september 6, 2006 she passed away at age 3.5 years.
yeah, i had two rats and they were dominant over my dog. smart as hell too. I remember them being able to unscrew a jar of peanut butter...scary how smart they are.

It was for a respiratory infection.
And nothing was added, he just liked it.

r.i.p. smeg. i add vitamin drops to my rats water bottle. they do have too short of a life span. they are great friends though.

right at petco. aand since ive been adding the drops my one rat who seemed to have some type of respiratory problem has shown great improvement.

Haha..no. Smegul always let them know who was boss. The cats used to mess with them but a few times I found bloody cat prints leaving the rat cage.
