Don't get me wrong, this is great (and sure as hell a LOT better than I could do), but the intro was a little too long, and the single notes too spread out, contrasting with the speed of the rest. It's a great song, and you're a fan-TASTIC pianist, but it just didn't seem quite right.

Gave me chills man. In my opinion, this is the greatest song in all of videogame history. FF7 fanfare and bomb run are pretty good too, but this one just can't be topped. It's just so... ominous and evil sounding. I could see this as being the soundtrack to the end of the world.

Agreeing about the tempo. If you're going to insist on messing with the tempo, then at least hit the right notes. I like what you're doing; as a pianist, I've always wanted the chance to try and play some of those epic video game pieces on a real pipe organ. no that's exactly what i'm saying, i listen to the song all the time on my playlist, he's clearly changing the tempo *dramatically* at certain parts; he HAS edited Koji Kondo's version. It wouldn't be so bad if he just kept a steady slower tempo which allows him to move his hands as he needs.

once again i listen to the original all the time. the intro is slightly to slow, but gradually speeds up (bad musicianship). first break in tempo is 0:35, where he goes into the "hyper tempo" i was talking about, which would sound great, if he didn't break it back down at 0:42. then fades back into the hyper right after 0:47. then gets somehow even faster at 0:54, making it sound worse. this causes him to attempt to maintain pace around 1:18, causing the inevitable fail at 1:22. tbc...
