  • good thing about gyro's... you can mess up but its very hard to crash

  • @jabbernaut52733 Yes, that is true. That is if you have a stable gyro. They can be more forgiving than other types of aircraft.

  • this is great jeikeskate! Thanks! upload more!

  • Very good movie for exercises!!! Congratulation!!!...

  • There is nothing better than an actual demonstration! This was not scripted. I have done a some training with Mike (the CFI) and he is great at letting you make mistakes so that you can figure things out. He has a ton of hours in this gyro so he knows the limits and knows when he needs to take over. I have also flown with CFI's that take over the second you are doing something a little wrong. I don't learn as quickly that way.

  • This cfi has more guts than I do. "I need more throttle!" "No, ya need less pitch" is fine, explaining it in the classroom, but to be willing to actually demonstrate it to a student in the left seat (who has no idea wtf he's doing is)... going way beyond the call. (unless of course it was all scripted...) either way...bz cfi bz.

  • I've been looking for a channel like this! I want to fly gyros..and someday, I'll own one! This has been a dream of mine for 13 years now. Thanks for the video. I live in NC. I had the chance to fly with Rusty Nance..however, when we did the preflight, he found a crack in his wheel hub..and so, we couldn't fly..and I wasn't able to get back. But, if he is still teaching, I will get there!

  • Excellent!

  • Great instruction ! CFI Mike Burton is an excellent instructor ! Student, great lesson for other pilots. Yes, once you break ground you need to drop the nose and build up airspeed. Your instincts kick in and ground you. Learning to fly is "unlearning" what you have learned. Beautiful place to fly. Best of luck.

  • I didnt know they had two seat gyro's

  • @JohnVH541 There are quite a few 2 seat gyros out there.

  • Nice instruction. :-)

  • great video
