@amoy1980 I got onnce a week glutathione IVs for about six months. They made me very sick for about two days afterwards. I was told this was due to the detox reaction. A lot of people claim that they feel great with the glutathione IVs but I have a genetic disorder that makes it hard for my body to detoxify. Therefore, when I get them -- it's a severe detox reaction. I don't think this is typical though. I do think they work, but you have to try it for yourself and listen to your body.

@leonila1980 - chilling and shaking is not a normal reaction. Really, there shouldn't be such side effects. it may make you hyper but never chilling. there should be another reason for your chilling but I'm sure it's not glutathione. but I could be wrong though. @demarcjw If you research glutathione, you'll see that when just taking glutathione capsules on their own, they do not get into your cells because they are destroyed in the stomach before even reaching the cells. Even if they did reach the cells, the glutathione molecules are too large to fit through the cell wall. If you want to really raise your glutathione levels significantly, you should take glutathione precursors like NAC, Milk thistle, alpha lopiac acid etc. Max Gxl works good too

No wonder why it's tagged as a whitening product instead of the usual health supplement that it really is. :)

Majority of us here in the Philippines do take them for health reasons too, although for many the side effect of "skin lightening" is what motivated them to start taking them. I have heard of reports that gluta in capsule form is not effective. I have no comment on that, but I've been taking gluta capsules since 2003 up to now. I began to see some "lightening" effect after 8-12 months of using it. So from my own experience, it proved effective.
@demarcjw - nevertheless, i have to agree that gluta injections absorbs better than capsule form, since it is administered through the veins. I've only had six injections of gluta, I still take my capsules though. I guess for better maximum absorption, you can take the injections several times per month while taking the capsules as your maintenance.

@cutiemae25 - Nope, there was no air in the tubing. I was the one having the injection, and I can see it at a close up range. What you see on the video is not what you think you saw. glutathion is never topical, the best treatment regimen for it is always IV since its action is more intracellular, even the PO type is not much effective coz as soon as the Po gluta reaches the digestive system, more often than not the enzyme (gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase) neutralizes it thus making it ineffective.

@pepehiligko - chances are it may go. it's important to take maintenance. If you can't do it using injections or capsules, maintain it with a whitening lotion or soap. Take Vitamin C and E daily...it will help maintain your skin color too. But nevertheless, continue taking glutathione whenever you can.

With regards to injections, you can take six injections in 7 days if it's your first time, then have it taken either weekly or monthly as your maintenance depending on your budget. @alexplot - not sure of that alexplot. the glutathione is mainly a liver vitamin, but it's side effect is the skin whitening. It's a powerful anti-oxidant, so it's a healthy way of skin whitening. There are many fake glutathione coming from China and other asian countries, so I guess that's what is dangerous. Just have to be extra careful when buying glutathoine since it is so readily available everywhere in Asia, that you don't know what is fake or not.

Hey I have a question. I took an energy supplement that gave me symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome so bad that I had to cancel my college classes for this semester. I was thinking some remnants are still lurking in my system somewhere and I heard about what glutathione can do for chronic fatigue syndrome and cleaning and renewing our cells. Do you think this will help me? Either injections or supplemental tablets from GNC.

@JazzBass7 - Hi Jazz. Glutathione is the master antioxidant of the body, so yes, I believe this will help improve your condition. It doesn't matter whether you take it orally or intravenously. It's a liver vitamin, and that in turn benefits other vital organs of the body. Although here in my country it is mostly widely promoted as skin whitener, since the visible effect of the supplement is skin lightening. :d

@engcz - nope that's not true. glutathione is naturally produced in our liver. it acts as anti-oxidant and help prevets certain disease and cancer. it promotes cell renewal and is very effective for preventing wrinkles and the like. it's main purpose really is vitamin for the liver, however, visible side effects is lightening of the skin. No wonder why it's tagged as a whitening product instead of the usual health supplement that it really is. :)

@engcz - And add to that, as we age glutathione production in our liver decreases due to stress and other factors. So taking it either orally or intravenously will help big time in improving our health.

I know about the benefits of "Glutathione".

@junniesalud08 - I'm using the Rosche brand in this video. I only had six sessions. But I've been a glutathione user since 2003, but that is through capsule form. And yes, after about a year of taking it, my skin did lighten. I'm actually an independent distributor for glutathione. If you are interested, let me know. :)

@conjurer968 - HI conjurer968. Majority of us here in the Philippines do take them for health reasons too, although for many the side effect of "skin lightening" is what motivated them to start taking them. I have heard of reports that gluta in capsule form is not effective. I have no comment on that, but I've been taking gluta capsules since 2003 up to now. I began to see some "lightening" effect after 8-12 months of using it. So from my own experience, it proved effective.

@demarcjw - nevertheless, i have to agree that gluta injections absorbs better than capsule form, since it is administered through the veins. I've only had six injections of gluta, I still take my capsules though. I guess for better maximum absorption, you can take the injections several times per month while taking the capsules as your maintenance.

@cutiemae25 - Nope, there was no air in the tubing. I was the one having the injection, and I can see it at a close up range. What you see on the video is not what you think you saw. In any case, my brother is the one administering the injection, and he's a surgeon at one of the hospitals in Manila, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Thanks.

i guess Vit. C is a bit painful when you administered in IV. What happened to the IV Catheter? Are you not going to flush it with a saline IV solution? How about the air that was introduce in your veins as what I have seen in the video.. It could cause serious complications. It could lead to air embolism also,

glutathion is never topical, the best treatment regimen for it is always IV since its action is more intracellular, even the PO type is not much effective coz as soon as the Po gluta reaches the digestive system, more often than not the enzyme (gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase) neutralizes it thus making it ineffective.

@mestizo21 - thanks for your information. I did hear of recent reports regarding gluta capsules not as effective as gluta injections. In any case, I started taking glutathione capsules in 2003....during the time which the public had no idea of what glutathione is all about. There were no glutathione injections available that time either. I took the capsules 500mg daily and I saw a whitening effect on my 8-9th months of using it.

@demarcjw - I've been taking the capsules until now...long before the gluta injections came out. I tried the glutathione injection for the first time when this video was taken, on May 2009, but I didn't really felt any difference after taking 6 shots in my first week. Maybe because I've been exposed to glutathione since 2003. I hear reports that gluta injections whitens faster than capsules, which could be true, as backed up by many claims.

@demarcjw - Nevertheless, I still believe that glutathione capsules may and can whiten skin color, if taken continuously. It may take longer compared to glutathione injections. I'm saying this based on my experience...when I first took my glutathione capsules I was moreno. My skin whitened from my gluta capsules intake, long before I had my first gluta injections.

@pepehiligko - chances are it may go. it's important to take maintenance. If you can't do it using injections or capsules, maintain it with a whitening lotion or soap. Take Vitamin C and E daily...it will help maintain your skin color too. But nevertheless, continue taking glutathione whenever you can.

@choperchic24 - it's advisable to take a minimum of 500 mg of glutathione capsules at a daily basis. With regards to injections, you can take six injections in 7 days if it's your first time, then have it taken either weekly or monthly as your maintenance depending on your budget. Nevertheless, capsule intake is a on days you don't get injections.

@msangeleyes20 - Hi there! Yup, it depends on how you want to achieve your results better. There is no overdosage of Glutathione, so you can take it in any amounts. It is advisable to take at least 500mg of glutathione at a daily basis. You can increase the amount if you wish. Results vary from person to person, depending on their current skin color. But continued intake will lead to a fairer skin.

@alexplot - not sure of that alexplot. the glutathione is mainly a liver vitamin, but it's side effect is the skin whitening. It's a powerful anti-oxidant, so it's a healthy way of skin whitening. There are many fake glutathione coming from China and other asian countries, so I guess that's what is dangerous. Just have to be extra careful when buying glutathoine since it is so readily available everywhere in Asia, that you don't know what is fake or not.

@kheian09 - i was informed that gluta injections whitens faster, coz it goes through the veins. in any case, I have no way to confirm this myself, since I've been taking gluta cappsules for years before I had my first gluta injection. but it has been reported that skin whitening becomes visible in the 4rth to 5th injection.
