thats a creative way to do it

i simply put the companion cube on the switch thats on the platform, and stood on the other button, but to the side so i wouldnt get hit, thus opening both doors

what you also could have done was put the cube on the second switch. and then like you said, let the ball pass, and then step on the 1st switch. either way works, but my method was simpler and removes the trickiness of the last part of the trial. just giving a heads up! =D

actualy, in the part in which you have to open 2 doors, i put the cube on the higher button and sit and crouch on the lower button and it worked! simple as that.

I know a cheat how to save your companion cube and throw a normal box in. You complete the test, and keep your companion cube!! Here it is:

1.type in sv_cheats 1 in your console. press enter.

2.enter ent_create_portal_weight_box in the console.A normal box should appear.

3.Kill the normal box instead. GLaDOS will approve of it and let you pass,WITH YOUR COMPANION CUBE!!!! I did not find this, i simply saw it on a video. Save your companion cube and do this!!!

Hmm, I see you used a different way of getting the 2nd ball into the receiver behind the two doors: I just put the Companion Cube on top of the button in the back, and then when the energy pellet went by, I quickly stood on it. :D
