    Never pronounce foreign words as you would in english; the key is that many languages have phonetic pronounciation so it is very easy to figure out unlike french and english which are complicated languages

  • Following MarkTwa8n's comment, I think it's also spelled "Fu De," two separate words.

  • I think calligraphy pen is called fude pen in japanese.

  • @mayavania I know, you commented it a year ago ... I simply wanted to mention it ...

    Fude means brush, hence a fude-pen is usually a brush pen. I guess it's called fude in this case, because you are able to do brush-like line variations with it.

  • Actually it is pronounced like "Who Day" and not like "Feude" Nevertheless, it is a nice pen.
