@pofrani IF you like touch screens then yes... No other radio has touch screen programming like the Aurora. There are no buttons other than those used fro flying!
thanks. well, as i've mentioned - i currently have an eclipse 7 and it's working for me (i do need an alarm timer tho rather than looking down to see the time). i'm not impressed with the spectrum dx8 and really like the look of this aurora. my only concern is how long will hitec support this compared to the popularity of the spectrum.
oh - and i hate that cable running from the aerial to the module on the hitec. why is that? :o(
@pofrani Hitec has been around for a LONG time (much much longer than the Spektrum brand) and I really doubt they will stop supporting it anytime soon.
The Aurora is a module based radio meaning that you can swap the 2.4 antenna and 2.4 module with a 72mhz antenna and 72mhz module. The wire just goes from the module to the antenna.
