scott ive known u since u was like 6 7 as i hung around with u but i new u raced as u always on ur bike but i did not no u was that good fair play to u mate
I know. I only wish that he was doing abit better in the championship. It was probably the motovation of him being on a home track that made him win. Good race though!
Next up - Assen. Should suit Scott's riding style perfectly - all big wide sweeping lines, and his inexperience is clearly no problem.
And it was an awesome atmosphere. even Toseland got a massive cheer every lap after he'd fallen. It's just a shame about the track invasion (again). There were people all over the track while Guintoli, Spies, DeAngelis and Melandri were still coming through at race pace. I'd even seen kids on the track - unbelievable!
I was standing on Craner Curves, Iannone crashed right in front of us and every one went crazy. After the crash he walked to the side of the track and knelt down shaking his head, so i took the opportunity to run up to the fence and take a picture of him!A great atmosphere in both the 125cc and moto gp despite Toseland crashing.
I know, Toseland crashed on the first corner and his foot-peg broke off. But, yeah Scott did brilliant! it was right infront of me where Lannone crashed and Scott became first! Pure Talent!
Brilliant, he qualified fourth, went back to fifth, a couple of laps later was in second. Scott then went about gradually chasing the leader down. A tenth of a second a lap here, a tenth there. Then suddenly it was under a second difference, then 0.5 and he was on him. Several laps passed, Scott just kept a cool head and heaped the pressure on. Iannone the leader responded with his own fastest lap then lost the front going down Craner Curves under pressure. Fan blinking tastic. Well done Scott.
Yes I was there and my kids were going mental. When Lannone crashed, it was a heart stopping moment cos from where I was couldn't quite see which one had crashed, mental note to take binoculars next time ha ha. Was definitely the main event, the 800 class was dull.
Could anyone tell me how much they can weigh these 125cc bikes running in motogp? please those who want to answer me thank you very much

Yeah the race was still going on! I have to admit that it is nice to run onto the trace and say hello! But atleast wait until the race has finished!

Did you have the James Toesland flag and T-shirts? :)

Awesome.
I was up at Macleans and a bunch of us thought Scott crashed - not Iannone, until we heard the noise as he came round Starkey's. XD
I could tell Scott was our best hope of a win this year at Qatar. 3rd fastest in FP1, on a new bike, new tyres, new track, and in his first GP.

That was awesome, a star is born and that was a much better race than the main event for obvious reasons. Go Scott.
