well they didn't ask him. the older guys he works with tossed the reporter on him. I work with this guy, i wonder if he knows he's on youtube. by FE, it means flight engineer.
then I'm guessing they put the engineer up to talk to the reporter, because he's probably the one who knows the gun better. he installed and tweaked it to fit on and be compatible with the heli. I'm not sure if that answers your question.
The engineers works the gun on the right side. That engineer did NOT install that gun or "tweak" it to "fit" on or be "compatible" . The gun was installed by the weapons shop. Most engineers know the weapon system well...as well as the gunners.
why is the FE trying to explain how a gun works? wheres the gunner?
