  • You got a warm and nice LP tone... wow! I have same guitar (LP standard faded, innit?) and same amp; ENGL screamer is a tricky eq beast. I use a tubescreamer TS7 to get warm tones and its amazing. Keep uploading vids man, you're doing great!

  • Your Videos are the beste man ! and your playing is awesome, keep on making videos !

    cheers from norway :)

  • One of if not the best quality guitar players on YouTube at this time.

  • @danielwfpro Many, many Thanks!!!

    Cheers

  • juca2929, that's not a chambered Les Paul, dude. ;-) The Faded series was simply weight-relieved via the 9 drill holes, just like they've been doing on all Les Pauls since 1983. They're just round drillholes to remove some of the woodt. They're not sound chambers and do not affect the sound. Gibson's just trying to confuse people these days so as to make the >2008 chambered Stds more accepted, so they deliberately blur the distinction between weight relief and chambering.

  • Your Boss DS-1 sounds great. Keep up the good work sir.

  • Many Thanks Sir!!!

    Cheers

  • @juca2929 wats the brand of ur amp?

  • I play unchambered '70's Les Pauls and they sound fabulous, but they weigh a ton. I'm thinking of getting a chambered modern LP for stage use. Any thoughts?

  • stick with the unchambered lp's man. they sound a lot better.

  • @LedZeplican Despite the description, the Faded series of Les Paul Standards was not chambered. They have the 9-hole weight relief, but all Gibson USA-made Les Pauls since 1983 have that. They're still solidbodies. Gibson's only trying to mentally blur the distinction between weight relief and chambering on their website these days because the chambered Les Paul Stds don't prove as popular as they thought they'd be.

  • i have a les paul 60s reissue. they are called traditional pros now but they are really light if you find the right one. tho some are very heavy. they have great pickups (burst bucker bridge)(P40R neck)

  • How about an SG? theyre light, heavy neck(but i dont care) nice slim neck, great action. Great sound. Sometimes like a LP if set right

  • Nice style.

    Everyday I've got the blues.

  • Hi, Many Thanks! I'm still trying to learn how to play the blues!!

And in front of a camera...well, the rec is on...and the pressure arrives...

    Cheers

  • it that the humbuckers that slash is using?

  • Hi, no, those are the Alnico V Burstbuckers Pro. Slash uses Alnico 2 or 3.

    Cheers

  • Slash uses Alnico Pro 2's.

  • Juca could you do a video of a chambered Gibson LP VS non Chambered Gibson LP. Many people have flipped out with the chambering and I would like people to be able to hear the actual difference. Thanks.

  • Is it more inclined to feedback when using high gain?

  • darmek2001: I guess so, but good feedback :D

    Cheers

  • Awesome! Great playing dude

  • Very nice singing tone!

    What pickups are you using?

  • Stock pickups, Burstbuckers Pro Alnico V

  • Is this one of the new 09' LP's that are chambered? I'v got a 98' LP Elegant that is chambered ( I believe that was the only time they made a chambered body until now),I really like it,but being a lefty,I've never been able to play another LP to compare it to. I really dig the tone your getting from yours. Cheers

  • Great stuff mate, what song is that? Id love to learn it.

  • les paul chambered???, no its juste les paul faded

  • reman94: Hi, it's a chambered model, but I believe that with a good tube amp you can get the same fat sound out of a "regular" standard. I get the same or even a more dark and fat sound, than wih my studio(not chambered)

    Cheers

  • ...what is chambered?

my english is not very good ;)

  • the body insted of having a solid slab of wood has sections inside removed. look up some pictures of a epiphone ultra 2 it should show you.

  • Is chambered better than normal?

  • it is all personal opinion, but i find that chambered bodies sound much more full and resonant. so i prefer chambered bodies :-)

  • Hey guy, congratulations....are u used to put the boss overdrive stright into the amp or in the send/return hole on the back? and when u play with distortion in 3th and 4th channel, have u also the boss overdrive turn on?

  • first view! great sounding guitar. How much lighter is it with the chambered body? I have an R8, that's not so bad but still heavy.

  • Chambered guitars definatly have a different sound, some people like it, others don't. I prefer the heavy rich sound.
