So after beating the game efficiently you can upgrade to a better start.

When we were little kids, I had to sing through the song first. Every time. Had to sing that song to the last lyric. And then once it restarted, it was finally time to play the game. And I hated all the monotonous ghostbusting so I would start the game and put my players at the screen where they fight the ghosts, and then turn off the TV and leave the game running for a while and come back later when the meter was full on red.

Great video of a underrate game:) I do like the way you always manage to enter the buildings at the right time and the music is amusing.

To perfect the speed run you might want to consider:

1

Avoiding the ghosts that goes into "the Zuul" building. The faster the PK meter fills, the faster you can enter.

2

You will only need 10000$ to enter the building, it might be faster to just wait after getting the money.

3

To avoid "state puff" destroying buildings you can use the ghost bait, 5 times.

What I like about the music in this version of the game:

1. It flows seamlessly, meaning that you don't notice it loop over and over (not that easily).

2. Pausing the game or going to the store will silence it - giving you a break from it.

Yes they are the key master and gate keeper once the Pk meter maxes out they will meet at Zuul which is at the center of the map and if you had made enough you must slip two guys past staypuff to win. This exactly the same as Ghostbusters for the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64, only with better graphics and slightly worse music(c64 version had the better music)

You can pass this game really quickly right at the start. Just let the ghosts or city's PK energy get high, don't try to stop them. Then the boss stage will be open. At least that's how i remember it. You don't even really have to bust any ghosts...

Oh, and a cheat i discovered back in the day when you had to call the SEGA hotline to find out there were none.

1: Start a game

2: Save it

3: Restart, enter your code but change the last number to a 9.
