very nice truck I absolutely love the round body step side. Mine was a 65' it had a 327 high torque motor, maroon paint, duel exhaust, and a busted steering column. I'm sad to say its gone now, and ill never get it back. but i will have another eventually. probably not slammed but it will be leveled with a two inch drop. instead of maroon, it will be candy apple red, red and white swede interior, american racing five spoke rims, with a hickory bed.

A stuck float can cause it to run like that. So can a stuck choke. Maybe if you use some bailing wire and wrap it around the choke lever it will smooth out. It may just run a little lean when it's cold but that rough idle should go away.

If you open up your hood and push it all the way up as far as it goes and have someone loosen off the hing bolts were it bolts the fender, while pushing up you will feel the hood move just a little bit, then tighten them back up and the hood will shut flush with the cowl. Did this on my truck and worked wonders! Nice truck btw

It's a very nice truck and great job on the build! Love the color and the sound. Is that a 305- 350? It's not my truck but this is what i would've done is picked up some different rims, maybe a thinner walled spoke design, and went with a little thicker walled tires to keep that classic hotrod look. BUT it;s your truck, your preference and i say you did some damn fine work.
