I know this was only a small clip from a TV show, but there are many, many more TV programmes besides this tiny selection which I'm sure we all remember very fondly indeed. A more innocent time, when children's programmes were actually geared for children to watch?
Hector's House was actually released on DVD and yes, I'm proud to admit I bought a copy! That along with the legendary Trumpton, Camberwick Green, Chigley and of course Mary, Mungo and Midge. I always found that series a bit scary for some strange reason ;-)
WoW now thats proper kids tv much better than what kids get to watch these days.can anyone remember playboard with hedge and mo from 1976 and does anyone have any clips?
I remember watching Paddington Bear, but it was on tape.Oh this takes me back to my childhood.I only wish we had those innocent days back.

Why the even scarier image than any "psychedelic" era childrens show could produce at the end?

The frog on Hector's House always gave me the creeps. . .
Any other Whovians out there notice the similarity between Mr Benn's shopkeeper's ensemble and Matt Smith's Doctor?
Dicky bow,
Fez
. . even a time machine of sorts. . .

I do not remember these shows, which sound more like UK shows than American Kid shows. I was born in 1964.

I was born in the middle of that decade and like most generation x'ers, saw these at the end of the 70's and early 80's.

I whole heartedly agree. TV today is nothing compared to TV back then.

I to agree. shows they've "tried" to bring back like "thomas the tank" they've completely ruined!
