I know this was only a small clip from a TV show, but there are many, many more TV programmes besides this tiny selection which I'm sure we all remember very fondly indeed. A more innocent time, when children's programmes were actually geared for children to watch?

I do not remember these shows, which sound more like UK shows than American Kid shows. I was born in 1964.

I was born in the middle of that decade and like most generation x'ers, saw these at the end of the 70's and early 80's.

Hector's House was actually released on DVD and yes, I'm proud to admit I bought a copy! That along with the legendary Trumpton, Camberwick Green, Chigley and of course Mary, Mungo and Midge. I always found that series a bit scary for some strange reason ;-)
