As corny as people think these PSAs were, I credit them with why I never even gave drinking, smoking or drugs a second thought, long into adult-hood. In fact, I don't recall any classmates drinking or smoking, etc., at least until late high school. These days, a lot of the kids in the neighborhood already have smoking and drinking problems, long before they're legal to do those things. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I think it wouldn't hurt to bring back the PSAs to cartoons again.
