  • @Proffesi i think its kinda a don't too do. 2 vocals running nice in time behind eachother and true eachother is epic. only 2 vocals over eachother is for me atleased a don't. not here too judge though.

  • What's the acapela banger??

  • you always seem to have latest cdjs and stuff

  • how do you get all the latest gear?

  • how did u toke that effect, the start of the track? can u give info of it plz.

  • isn't having 2 vocals true at the same time one of the don'ts for a dj?

  • 4:35 for the mix <3

  • bibibib magic <3

  • you have the most ridiculous setups

  • "Thats crap now thats like 5 minutes old" Laughed so hard I stopped breathing.

  • Think your videos are great man and the end of this one made me laugh like mad. Im learning to dj and am gonna be getting some 2000's today... Your an inspiration man!

  • *bugging the shit out if me....sorry for the uncompleted message

  • *pitch or getting the bass right, does that beat's volume decrease so the audience doesn't hear you make the correction or can they even hear you doing that at all? Please let me know cause itsnb

  • This might be a stupid question but when you are setting the

  • what is the acapellas name

  • lots to learn..very cool very informative...

  • I'm a beginner I have virtual dj and a Dj app on my iPhone that I like to mess around on. I want to get a cheap pair of cdjs that I can connect my laptop to not assed about all fancy stuff that some cdjs have just want basics to start out any help with this please much appreciated and which cdjs will be good to get? Funny guy btw presenting I could watch you all day you legend

  • @JamesBluemoon1992 I recommend you get a controller that controls the software in your PC, like a Mixtrack Pro. Pretty much same functionality as 2 CDJs and a mixer but with the music in your PC and the effects of your preferred program.

Im a beginner like you and have it, helped me to get a grasp of DJing quick.

If you get a Mixtrack Pro you should also watch the tutorials of DJ Caution, helped me alot.

  • @JamesBluemoon1992 The Numark MDX400 is a great place to start for CDJ's. The price is low and they offer a lot for the price.

  • you are the king xd

  • that was really cool to watch :)

  • im a virtual deejayer and i am currently getting a turntable but people like the old 80's soungs mixed with some wubs.

  • its my birthday on the 29th of july

  • Your so right!!! Love your videos, they helped me out so much, and im still at the beginning stages... I like throwing in so old MJ with a good house mix, or techno sound.

  • That last bit of advise was the best.... hahahahahaha XD

To me music is timeless and ageless. It just has the tag which it says that it was released by that time and that's it!!! You should not get or make up your mind around that detail otherwise when you're mixing you will lose the chance to be creative/innovative or THE ONE who played "on that night club that we went" that special track that has so many memories of certain period of my life!! Just bear in mind it's suitable so lets do it!!

  • whats the name of the acapella?

  • mate I love your style musically and presenting wise top notch love it love it love LOL :)

  • i like this one +1

  • 3:55

    Nuff said.

  • New tunes aren't always classics but a classic will always fill move the room

  • Hes right that song is old already but still sickk. Like how he explains

  • I have question sometimes when I'm practicing with your methods, The beats won't fit on eachother to move the cross fade to the other music. Plz help me

  • it hurts my feelings how he puts the cd at 4:09 in the 900

  • interesting thing you bring up here. It seems logical to have some older or non 10 secs from release tunes to spin that your audience can relate to. What makes it new and fresh is the mix you put it in....;) After all djs are entertainers and if your audience is engaged they will keep inspired ;)

  • He's a legend lol i would say this video explains a lot :)

  • acapella not accapella not acapela not acappela, acapella.

I guess you already know that but please fix it in the description :-)

  • Hey man you were so funny speaking like it!!! So hilarious!!!!! Anyway that's really a good advice!!!

  • how much cdj's do you have ?? ?

  • thank you for this video, i agree entirely =)

  • "Ive got the Mafia Guy in here..." xD

  • aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssoooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeee

  • I'm always amazed at how people of all ages still go crazy for 70's disco and tunes from the 80's

  • Hahaha i like this dude Keep it up bro : )

  • sounds just like derren brown

  • why your camera have a fish-eye?(go pro???)

  • Swidsh House Mafia - One

  • How can you buy a track that is not released???

  • cannot walk your dog? haha... funny days dude, i like :)

  • nice raper dude waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Old is gold. :D

  • thats like 5 minutes old ;)

  • @Ninosilvio: Lol.

  • die gozerd bakt kanker hard! hadoeee

  • Funny how it's been over a year but that version of One is still considered fresh, and is still played. I played it at a club not long ago and everyone went nuts.

What's also funny is that I also played Yves LaRock's Rise Up and some dude was bitching about how I needed to play recent shit (which I was, but I like that tune). Today, I'd still play songs like Meet Her At The Love Parade or Daft Punk's Around The World. Why? Because they're timeless.

  • @smokejc don't forget justice;) i also still play cry from bingo players i think as long as a hit song isnt over used u can still play it 1 or 2 years after the releace:P

  • @smokejc One is probably never going to fade. its a legend. you want the dance floor to go wild, you play this track.

  • @smokejc I played one yesterday and still play it quiet often. its although a timeless tune, I knew it from the moment I had the record in my hand for the first time...

  • Damn, this took me much longer than expected, but it is indeed Gold Dust being played at 7:40... Here's the full name for anyone wondering: DJ Fresh - Gold Dust (Sammy J Remix)

  • DOPEEEEE VIDEO BUDDY ! u got a brilliant mind for music things .

  • Seriously, what is that breakbeat track with the piano that comes in at 7:40 ellaskins? It sure isn't any remix of Dj Fresh - Gold Dust that I've been able to find...

  • Do you sell your cdj 350's? :P

  • how many consoles have you?

  • tracks used?

  • daft punk!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you are made of gold <3

    Awesome

  • That's why i want a third cd player :(

  • @bartiiiooo you could get that djay app for ipod/iphone and and then put accapellas on ther n use that thats a cheap(ish) way of your 3rd lol

  • @BenEyah That's why I want an Ipod or Iphone or Ipad lol, no I think cd players are just better

  • Breakbeat is Gold Dust - DJ Fresh...

South African DJ all the way!!!

  • name of break beat song please

  • Hay ella, i'm thinking about buying some equipment. But i'm not quite sure what is best or me, my genre is Techno , Tech-house, and i'm wondering if the genre has an impact on what sort of equipment one should use...

Another is question..what would you recomend for me, I was thinking about either a traktor s4 controler + x1 controler (1000 €) or a pioneer set djm 350+ cdj 350 also(1000€)??

  • Gooood job there sir! I loved the ending too. Have fun!

  • I Love 3:55-4:02, lmfao, i watched it like 15 times

  • @SikkofMainstream Yeah same its hilarious.

  • As a music producer and DJ we have to admire the "Old" music...

  • mate them tunes are well old!! :P

  • you sort of remind me of DJ Pilgrim in this vid, rough and raw mixing which sounds great...

  • TUNE!

  • when he lists the tracks all I could think was "this mix is going to be unbelievable..."

  • Could you please mail me this acapella ?

  • LOL Yea that is the way to end a video!!!

  • Man that is awesome thanks for sharing your talents and giving us some ideas!!!

    I love it.

  • how do you manage 5 players with a 4 channel mixer?

  • That's like 5 minutes old ;-)

  • Just to prove ella's point, I'm just now watching this vid for the first time, and for the first time ever, hearing the Mouse Hafia track.

  • old is gold ;)

  • Always with the daft punk xD

  • BEST WAY TO END A VIDEO

  • u need at least 3 decks to do this ... with acapella and stuff ... but don`t mix over voices :P it sounds bad ...

enyway ...good stuff ... u "helped" me to make my choice in buing players and mixer :P

  • duuuuude how do you get all that geeeaaaar ????!! Sick how u always have fresh cd-players & stuff in your room..

  • Comment removed

  • haha the ending made me laugh..u make great videos;)

  • Is there any ellaskin's video in which he doesn't say "Right guys" at the beginning?

  • what headphones are you using in this video?

  • @styler05myler Sony MDRV-700

  • Great selection of tunes! I love Revolution 909 and it mixes great with One. Defenitly going to try this. Cheers!

  • Agreed to your opinion about tracks age, new or old doesnt matter as long as you make your set enjoyable to the audience.

  • I apologize for my bad english

It is a sad reality. The djs of here fights for having the last songs and do not realize that the crowd has another look towards the music. "new" and "good" not mean the same thing. I believe that reject a song based on his release date is something without logic...

untill now I get excited with tunes as " born slippy ", " superstylin ' "" around the world ", and many more, and it's a shame that in the clubs already they are not listened.

    Saludos desde Argentina!

  • would you mind donating a pair of pioneer cdjs to my dumbass? hahaha

  • @djsarge100 discogs.com

  • @djsarge100 ahaha accapellO

  • What is the acapella "This is a migic touch ..." called???

  • This sounds bloody brilliant! the "this is a magic touch" triggering is a great idea, i can't wait to try it out, I assume the general idea is to trigger a widely known / recognized chorus and then use that to build up/ fade into a new song.

  • @np0405 agree, the idea is to sort of have the acapela over the mix... this will blend the mix to geather.

    j

  • whats the track in the right cdj?

I heard in in a club and i fell in love with it. Please tell me!!!
