because 'god' real in ur belief that will give u enogh to carry on believing and to make bigger steps and biger ripples. belief is a fascinating thing eg soldiers who are out numbered but belive they can win will undoubtably have more chance of winning htan those woh are being deafeaste about it all. if beliving in a 'god' can give u that strength then believe if a doctor, scientist, a preacher, parent or just nature can give you that strenght then believe in them.

lets get something straight 'god' does but does not exist; in your mind (which is real enough really) 'god' can exist as a guiding 'lite' (4 me i prefer the darkness) and as an icon - something to cling on to in the eternal turmoil.
but in 'reality' (anyone got a defifnition by the way) 'god' does not exist. frankly i think its is fine if someone believes in one thing even if i disagree withthem (as long as they dont force their beliefs on others )

I don't believe because any claim brought forth without evidence can be dismissed without reason. Science will probably explain how the universe happened eventually, but just because it hasn't now does not mean some magical sky wizard is the explanation.

@crystalQ222 Planet earth was formed about 4.6 billion years ago. The earth didn't just appear out of thin space, it took billions of years for it to resemble what it is today. Earth formed from a giant cloud of rock and dust that was trillions of miles wide, as did all of the other planets.Bigger rocks took in smaller rocks and even bigger rocks took in those rocks making a massive ball of rock which was big enough to resemble a planet.

@crystalQ222 In the start, the earth was bombarded with meteors and comets almost constantly and the extreme heat melted the rock. There were constant lightning storms and volcanic eruptions which superheated the rocks melting them into liquid. This melted rock is what the core of the earth is made of. After millions of years the earth cooled and formed, due to plate tectonics, into Pangaea and all of the other super land masses until it shaped itself into what it is today.
