She is that old. That's kind of why she was a guardian with Yan Lin. When Julian... you know what... he did it with who he thought was the mage. Caleb is seventeen. Nerissa had been posing as the hag for eighteen years. The mage was young and beautiful when Julian saw her and... made Caleb.

He doesn't have a specific age. Judging from what Phobos looked like when he was in "Trill's" memory thingie (about 12-13), plus 13 years would make him about 25-26.)
