  • @sbunch57 No he did not die, at the end he became a walking sperm.

  • At 1:55 what's the title of this song ??

  • Taking out the scene with the reversed clock sucks out SO much effect of this story. As an editor and artist why would you remove it?

  • @maguma this is just one scene, it makes more sense in the full edited version I did because the story is much different. the ticking sound of the clock still gives an effect though

  • Not much makes me cry because I know it's scripted ect. I gotta admit though, this bought a tear to my eye the first time I watched it.

  • best movie ever! look it twice or five times, you understand what important in life, love, happyness,to be honest, respect, thats it !! best movie ever !!!

  • I still kind of laugh at the lightning part even while I'm crying

  • you should have put in neil young's "old man" in as the song Works great with the video :)

  • My mum cried and cried at this part, because of his 'big, blue eyes' :'(

  • i cried wathcing this movie my girl Tarji should of got an oscar. I love movies like this :)

  • Brad Pitt is the greatest actor of all time

  • Some people were born to sit by a river. Some get struck by lightning. Some have an ear for music. Some are artists. Some swim. Some know buttons. Some know Shakespeare. Some are mothers. And some people dance. 2 things happened to me when I saw this film and it's ending. 1. I recognized it's message: that everyone has a role in this world, and it's important no matter what. 2. I cried. Like tears came streaming down my face when the piano started playing. I'm crying now.
  • who is the lady holding the baby?

  • @Lio48219 That is Benjamin's love interest Daisy played by Cate Blanchett.

  • Great Movie

one of the all time bests

  • As a mother of a 4 month old boy. I just watched this and it really broke my heart watching him get smaller and smaller. As a mother I appreciate my son so much and just want to give him a hugeeeee cuddle after I saw this.

  • This is a great movie, but it gets a lot of hate.

  • Me encanta esa pelicula.. es preciosa

I love the film! is precious! u.u

  • I saw the movie a few minutes ago, too. And the scene when the Benjamin Button as Baby died is very sad :'( But it's one of the Best Movie that I have ever seen. 5 Stars :)

  • What's the name of the piece that starts at 0:55? The end sequence wouldn't be the same without it.

  • awesome movie. Still not as good as the short story though.

  • Where do you keep your full edited version?

  • @Gladysandjill i have a dvd of it, but the quality wasnt good so i was thinking of editing it again in the future

  • @kitfisto522 Do it n upload plz!

  • What is the name of the piano piece in the beginning that goes from 0:00 until 0:50?

  • not to be a downer or anything

but it doesnt show what happens to Daisy in the hospital

and that would just lead to a plot hole.

yet i still like it, great job

  • @MrVideo32 i took out all the scenes of her in the hospital, i didn't like that whole storyline that's why i edited it this way

  • @MrVideo32 Daisy died in the hospital of course, but what some people don't know is that the water rushing in is exactly Hurricane Katrina as it is approaching. (New Orleans 2005) It is amazing how the story ended like that and very sad what happened to those people in the hospitals when the Hurricane came. Beautiful Movie

  • awesome movie

    great music <3

  • i cry on ending :'(

  • awesome moviee

    made me cry

    this is a classic

  • When I saw this movie...It just moved me. The ending I was in tears.

  • The Saddest part was when he sent the letters on every of his Sons' birthday, and the ending is extremely sad because it's SO touching and it connects to some peoples lives

  • Girls* birthday

  • sad

  • i would cry more n more if this was the real ending xP x]

  • god i cried like a babie in this movie... ever notice on the cover, behind the letters that say "Benjamin Button" says 'life' as if it was reflected? that makes the pretty pattern behind his name on the poster :)

  • makes me cry ;'(

  • Love the end... The way the movie shows you how different people are....

  • What a touching movie.

  • ah the funny lightin dude XD

  • LOVE THIS FILM AND THEY PUT I N THE PERFECT ENDING. showing all the aspects of the people he loved

  • Poor Mike :(

  • An extraordinary movie that touches my heart and tells me; give purpose in your life while you live, and honor those who did.

  • Exactly!!! That's what I said! Finally, someone shares my sentiments!

lol read the spoof abridged script it's pretty funny.

  • This is called Bethena, composed by Scott Joplin around 100 years ago. BTW how does he die?

  • he died of 'old age' but in this case it's young age? he doesn't turn into a fetus though haha

  • dude, i watched this and loved it. I REALLY LOVED THIS edited version but i watched the film and then tried this ending, and it just didn't follow right

  • i edited the entire movie, this is just the ending scene so yea it wouldnt fit with the normal version

  • man, i always cry when I watch that end. This music and the words are so perfect.

  • Felt the omission of the clock at the end was a real waste, also really did not like ending with Arcade Fire.

    Otherwise superb.

  • The song is called Bethena, and it was composed by Scott Joplin.

  • good job

just wondering tho, be much obliged if someone helps, but does anybody know the name of the song played during the 'some people...' bit

  • much better ending than the original ending.

  • thanks

  • np, its the music that makes this a perfect ending :) good choice and good timing

  • beautiful

  • Not creepy...awesome.

  • this always makes me cry.

  • bethena.. my favourite song..

Das is so traurig.. Das war beim Kinofilm nemme lustig.. Als ich das Video hier zum ersten mal sah hab ich geheult...

  • that is so creepy how he turns back into a baby. so f-ing creepy. it's like a grandmother and her grandson

  • I actually like the ambiguousness of this ending, it leaves it up to the viewer giving few clues on what is happening. Well done.

  • bethena a concert waltz by scott joplin one my favourite songs..

  • Wow that is crazy

  • whats the name of the piano song playing when he is describing ppl

  • What song is playing at the beginning of this? Is it on the soundtrack?

  • Yes, it's on the OST, it's called Benjamin And Daisy.

  • love this scene :D

  • lol He was only hit by lightning 6 times...

  • 7 i think

  • yeah but it only shown 5 or 6

  • 7, but they never showed the 7th one.

  • yeah thats what i mean

  • This Would Make A Good Teaser Trailer (Without The Ending Credits, But Leave The Bit In With Brad Pitt, Kate Blanchett And The Curious Case . . . . )

  • Favorite scene from my favorite movie : )

  • 0:54~1:50 the meat and potatoes.

  • hmm 3:07 the song is good

  • I wish they ended it like this. With the piano still playing and it just cuts out. It's a lot sadder and less symbolic (w/o the clock), but it's stil lgood.

  • i love this movie so much

  • The music that starts at 0:55, I picked that out on the piano. Its so beautiful. This is one of my favourite movies.

  • What's

the title of the music from 3:09 to end?

  • I love that song!

    It's very beautiful.

    The song is called:

    Bethena

  • And who is the artist of this version?

  • bethena by scott joplin

  • And u r stupid 2. I guess u have not understood the meaning of this movie.

  • oh this movie rocks its so sad

  • This should have won the Oscars.

Slumdog Millionaire was good and all, but this movie was freaking brilliant.

  • Jakmehauf the song in the credits is named My Body Is A Cage by Arcade fire

  • "The baby looked at with his eyes saying,'I know you', and went to sleep."

Daisy (I think thats how it at goes)

  • this was such a sad movie.

  • i love this movie so much

  • I love this ending and the Gran Torino ending. They're so great.

  • whats the name of the song at the credits?

  • That old man who got struck by lightning always make me LOL'D

Especially when they show some flachback!! So random lololololol

  • The movie only shows him getting shocked 6 of 7 times.

  • I would rather grow old than grow into a baby.

This movie makes us realize that aging forward, no matter what happens, is not such a bad thing.

  • this movie is great

    i love it:

  • Anybody know the second song in this? Where he starts with the "Some people..." speech.

Anyway, yes! Great ending! So nostalgic and beautiful. I love how they tie in all the characters to truly make us feel for them, and just the overall emotional "theme" that happened here. The music is what really ties it in too.

Overall, definitely one of the best movies I have seen so far.

  • Bethena from Scott Joplin I believe...

  • well i think my body is a cage is from arcadia fire if i am right

  • I find myself wanting to love this film, as the whole plot, storyline and how the story will end is just so appealing to think about. But, the fact is, i think the director has let the viewers down with that ending, as there really isn't anything that clear to take from it, except we will all die! "But when it comes to the end, you have to let go". What does that even mean?

  • the first time i watched this i was touched and thought it was just wow but i did not cry then my teacher on the last day of school played the ending and went around saying how he loved us and how special we are and now i cant watch this without bursting into tears

  • I could be wrong but it's about life and how life should be cherished because death is inevitable. We shouldn't fear death but accept it as a fact of life. Thus, we should live life to the fullest doing what we love. At the same time , we should cherish our love ones each day because nothing lasts.

  • That's exactly what I came away with when I saw the movie. Benjamin did so much more than most would ever do in their lives-- I really thought I should do more after doing this.

  • maybe its when u love someone...its for life, no matter how old u are or were u come from or wat u look like....idk maybe not ;: [

  • I'm the kind of person who likes to think a lot and I figure a movie with this much emotion should have a moral or lesson or a theme but I can't find one. I really want to like this movie but I honestly don't understand the point. Can someone explain it to me?
