  • How do you keep all of the parts of the engine lubricated like that with it the bottom end open?

  • dont get yer pant leg caught!!

  • That's incredible! Any chance of a detailed vid or uploading the plans somewhere? Tell him to keep up the good work!

  • wasn't this bike in the horse back street chopper?

  • Its exhaust is done "the" Harley Davidson way. :P

  • I have seen anything like it. Thats amazing. Best part is that it sounds like a real harley!

  • what a clever dude, thats just awesome.

  • Looks like he adapted the heads and cylinders from a model Y Briggs.

    Amazing work!

  • @SmallEngineMechanic He did mention the top end being Briggs.

  • That Randall does some amazing work, doesn't he?

  • it's not home made it's real Harley motor but naked ..

  • @happy010186 The closest thing to a Harley part in that engine is the Joe Hunt magneto.(a somewhat rare 2RHD) (sidemount Shovelhead)

  • holy balls that engine is jesus! when are you planning on posting plans so i can make mine that nice!

  • @musashi1865 Don't have plans per se, I've got some autocad dwgs I made that I could send ya. They're a bit of a mess, dimensions all over the place... : )

  • @HogletGuy hahah if i had autocad that would be awesome but how about some crudely drawn sketches?

  • Tits !

  • Very pretty piece of work but man will the bearings go all to hell if you ride it much unless it's all built with sealed rollers? And has a dust shield for the jug skirts.

  • @FireDropTechnologies I keep to paved roads mostly. The bearings are all pretty well shielded. May well get some piston/cylinder scoring eventually, but no sign of that yet. The old hit-and-miss engines ran for years on end with open cranks and all,,,

  • @HogletGuy

    Yeah, don't doubt it.

But Road grime is not the same a shop dust.

    Keep her greased.

  • Work of art!!!

  • That is a fantastic piece of work. I take my hat off to the maker.

  • That's awesome.

  • that's awesome, i'm pretty mechanically inclined but i would have no idea where to even begin with something like that!

  • That's fantastic. I like that a lot!

  • this is SWEET! is this one of a kind, or will you build more? interested!

  • @OZOREMEDY I will ask him for you. This is my neighbors engine, I just filmed it when he stopped in my driveway because I was amazed by it.

  • @ScouderFord thanks!

  • yeah that was in the may 2011 issue of the horse

  • that was in a issue of the horse back street choppers wasnt it?

  • Nice thought in creating a v-twin on vintage lines. Nothing as simple as this.

May be he next creates one with bolted up cases for engine & g'box.

    cheers..

  • Amazing work, thanks for sharing this!

  • Any more pictures or videos of this thing?

  • @amfan12 That's all I have up close. I have another video, but all it shows is him pulling out of my driveway and driving off. I tried to get as much detail in this video as I could.

  • wow thats impressive
