  • Thank you so much for making this video! I was so happy to be able to talk about my experience and share with you all.

  • @tweet767 you bet Lauren - thanks again for investing yourself in the trip to Thailand and your perspective.

  • Jill, thanks for sharing this video to connect with USA for UNHCR and Lauren. As a photographer, if I had a chance to go to these places I would certainly be grateful to share images of life in Refugee motion.

  • @NakevaNCorothers you are very welcome Nakeva. Apologies for the delay here in replying. Would you ever be interested in visiting specific refugee camps and covering them as a photographer? Is that what you're expressing? I'm under caffeinated now and want to understand your perspective. I too would like to visit refugee camps as a vlogger -- and tell stories of not just their needs but their culture, like heroic stories that the children grew up with or games the families like to play.

  • @jillfoster Yes, if I had the resources to go to places with refugees and work as a photojournalist with photography, mobile photography and video I would do it! Sitting here at the comfort of my home with my laptop and talking about it is only going to go so far. Being with the refugees and seeing life as they see it but with my lens would tell a different story.
