I don't have an issue with people keeping rescued wildlife as pets, but for the most part I do believe it is better to first try to get them into a wildlife sanctuary/rehab center if possible.

Most people are not up to the challenge of dealing with a wild animal wants it hits sexual maturity and then the thought of dumping it somewhere or having it destroyed become very desirable options.
