I am/was always surprised that 'The Captain & Tennille and especially Tenille ,didn't become huge international starsbecause she has a wonderful voice,great empathy with her lyrics and is just an all round heaps better singer than most of her contemporaries.
If only she didn't have (1) the musical intelligence she has and (2) the musical pedigree (i.e. her father), it would be so much easier for me to dismiss her as another shallow pop sensation of the 1970's. So disappointing for me.
Beautiful just beautiful...I remember this song from their tv show too, I watch the dvd's almost every day, they always cheer me up when im feeling down. Wonderful video, thanks DQ again!
You're right....this is a beautiful song. Toni does a fantastic job on it. I have liked this song since I first heard it on C&T's television show, now on DVD.
Who was her father? Good singer. Not an easy song!

Toni is very talented and very well educated! She never got the credit she deserved.... She has more talent than many of the "stars" of today!
