  • Hahaha she didnt know whos face that was omg

  • Of course she knew, but she didn't saw it at the first seconds, because there were many different t-shirts! Think a little before judging..

  • i dont noe who she is and dont care

  • too much work. Just take an tank top like that one, turn it inside out, gather the bottom and tie it with a hair tie tightly, turn it outside in and there you go.

  • who is marilyn monroe?????

  • @cookie7639 how do you not know who she is?! She died but she is/was amazing!

  • @poeticsong725 I'm sure it doesn't look that bad but maybe you need to watch the video a couple more times or get the book.

To the people who made the video, great idea I love making things out of old t-shirts, I'm wearing a t-shirt skirt right now

  • Looks cool I love marylin

  • I like this idea, but wouldnt staples pop out? Cant you just sew it before you put the duct tape on?

  • mine turned out were the picture is on the side like the handels are on not rite how did u do it?

  • @mommysdarkside3 mine too - dang it....

  • I'm thinking she just didn't recognize the face because the bag wasn't completely right side out. I hope so... Also, I'm doing that project right now!!

  • She didnt even know who marilyn monroe is!!! Jesus..

  • Cool

  • wow! thats clever!

  • Comment removed

  • Can I use thinner strips of duct tape for this? Cos I really can't find the wider ones she's using D: help! :|

  • I love how she didn't recognize Marilyn XD

  • thats amazing! so cool!

  • So creative and useful!!

  • if only i had a stapler...

  • teehee my name is jodi :)

  • It Is HelPful !!!

  • @awkward8anna oh goodness, please don't use a sewing machine it will gum up the needle don't even try it! I would just use staples like they say here

  • Oh wow!

  • @- awkward8anna- hahah YES but do NOOOOT try it! Unless u are using a sewing machine and u have alot of time on ur hands :) I tried sewing threw duct tape by hand. MISTAKE! XP

  • can you sew through duct tape?

  • @awkward8anna Yes, you can do it. But it's better if you use a sewing machine adjusted for long straight stitches

  • Gotta say, this is no where near Green, but this idea is ADORABLE! I wonder if the staples would hold books... ?

  • cool

  • that is so cute. too bad it will probably be horrible when i make one...

  • how do you not know who Marilyn Monroe is!!! :O

  • Wouldn't use my duct tape on this, too expensive. I bought the Gorilla Duct Tape that has way more holding power but cost more.

  • Oh c'mon!! Definitely not a recycling or green idea with all that duct tape and staples. Grab 2 old t-shirts(preferably 100% cotton), cut your shape out and sew it with together with blanket stitches using a needle and thread - then it's a green, recycled bag.

  • @bushgirl62 ik thats what I was thinking but whatever

  • thankss sooo much this worked really well I now have the best school bag EVER!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • to save you lots of time u can just melt plastics bags together instead of the t shirt and duct tape there is plenty of videos on how to melt plastics bags into sheets with an iron :)

  • Ok so I tried this and it didn't work at all! I did it TWICE and neither worked -:|

  • Can we skip the duct tape part??

  • I think I'm actually going to try this.. Hmm..

  • umm, why wouldnt you just use more duct tape to "sew" the bottom of the bag??

  • @ilovehellboy cause it wouldn't hold?

  • @ilovehellboy yeah, i should haev watched the entire thing, i didnt see the staples until after, silly me =)

  • great idea money's tight.

  • This cool kno I don't have to buy a bag for skool yay!!!! :D

  • This is soo cool

  • This is such a cute idea! But how would u keep the picture on the shirt from being on the side?

  • I can do that with full duct tape

  • Waste of ducktape much? :)

  • A few years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said "Get the kids and get out of the house, we'll call the police we don't have a clown statue". The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00am with a chainsaw in his hand. Sorry don't want this to happen to me

  • @ZarahLynnWitter FAKEEEEEEE!

  • I really wanna do this :D it looks creative & fun ^___^

  • Freaking awsome

  • she doesn't recognize marilyn monroe?!

  • u cud just use a tank top in the 1st place i realised this after i ad badly cut a tshirt o_0 x

  • super kool and its not complicated at all love it <3

  • I made 4 so far and the only thing I would warn you about it is the wrinkles omg its so hard to keep it from wrinkling

  • omg. the duct tape is mad complicated!

  • cool

  • @WafflePaws the duck tape is facing down. how old r u?

  • I need her book. :)

  • @thecrumps100 dont get her book its just a waste of money when you can learn it from here :)

  • This Is Really good for me cause

    1) i have alottt of t shirts

    2) I have alot of duct tape (green red blue Anycolor)

    3) Stapler ;D

  • love it now we know what we can do for our grand parents they always buy tot bags and now she can enjoy the ones I make for her I'm off to buy duct tapes.

  • "a nice bag of... i dont know who that is." wow shes only like one of the most famous models/actresses in america today

  • holy domoli

  • is it sad that i made this in class for entertainment

  • Made it. Love it. Great bag. Use it for shopping. Roomy. Durable. And I had all the stuff at my house. Took about 30-45 min.

  • GHETTO!!!

  • @DyamonFTW that's your problem

  • I don't have duct tape or a stapler lying around. wtf?

  • duct tape is really bad for the environment. not biodegradable at all. haha nice going green.

  • duct tape? thats cool never heard of this method..n there is like all types of printed ductape like...

    zebra

    cheeta

    camo

    dots

    stripes

    hearts & etc.

  • @kendraiscoolio Yeaa , if you go to walmart , target or a craft store they have all types of patterns and prints.!

  • um who doesnt know maralin monroe

  • i wish i knew this before i spent 3 days making a sew t-shirt bag.

  • I just made this bag yesterday and it turned out really nice! I used a white t shirt and fabric markers to decorate it. :D

  • I think I gonna duct tape my shirts and wear them :D

  • Nobody said anything about duct tape....i only have a plain old shirt in front of me...

  • who DOESN"T know who marilyn monroe is ???

  • me

  • Oh my god people shut the fuck up! Just go buy duct tape!!! It's like everywhere!

  • "Oh, I don't know who that is." Haha!

  • "its like a tank top"!

  • thats a lot of work, im not capiballee (fail) of this. =O

  • watch i bet you i am going to be searching my house for an hour just to find duct tape

  • @98cheerstar ahahaha same! lol oh an a pair or good siccors. some times being left handed is not all its cracked up to be -_- lol i cant cut cloth with right handed siccors for the life of me.

  • @blackdawn88655 omg thats crazy i am lefted handed too oh ya i can't cut cloth either i actually justed made my bag and my handles look retarded because i can't cut

  • out of all the tutorials on how to make cute bags out of old clothes...this is the simplest one to follow.

  • tht ladyz got my cout! lol

  • I have neon pink and gray duct tape and i used pink for the straps then i used electric wiring black tape and made the straps checkered and then i covered one side of my shirt and put duct tape on the outside and fabric in the inside

    ITS AWESOME

  • Oh yes. Because every T-shirt we throw out. We will be making a "T-Shirt Bag" and spend 3 or 4 bucks on duct-tape AND we'll spend 45mins on every one we make. So we can wear a staple/duct-tape/T-shirt one of a kind bag.....THEN we will reuse it INTO a grocery bag........ O_O seriously I dont have that kind of time. If you do then I have no comment.

  • this sounds fun looks like ill be making my self a new bag now :D

now were did i put my duct tape??????

  • I HVE All the other stuff just not DUCT TAPE!!! :(

  • i love this thanks sooooooooo much

  • get a ginormous tee shirt, skip the duct tape, use fabric glue and make a laundry bag :)

  • The fuck? "I dunno who that is?"

    -.-

  • my neice is 9 and she knows who marilyn monroe is

  • am i the only person who DOESNT have duct tape lying around?

  • @pinkcrave320 no and for that purse probably used 2 rolls of duct tape those cost 3 or 4$ each roll i bought 3 rolls last week it cost me 20$ i mean it already ran out i can buy a purse at high quality for 20$ maybe even less

  • @pinkcrave320 yes... yes you are

  • @pinkcrave320 You can just use tape

  • @pinkcrave320 yepp... pretty much!

  • @pinkcrave320 where do u get color duct tape

  • @pinkcrave320 ya... pretty much

  • @pinkcrave320 no..snif snif

  • @pinkcrave320 haha foreal

  • That's actually really GOOD! But I'ma sew it instead so it hold better cuz I'm thinkin of using this for school. Lol ^_^

  • this is not a good idea. More trouble than it is worth. Staples are not going to hold this bag together for long.

  • I actually like this. I used to have a t-shirt bag, and I lost it. Ive been wanting to make a new one, but my sewing machine pops needles. haha!! Good Idea!

  • "I don't know who that is" *facepalm*

Seriously? You don't know who Marilyn Monroe is? LOL

  • Duck Tape does come in a variety of colors they had that contest were teens made prom dresses and their dates outfits out of the stuff also you can use iron on vinyl which is way easier go to Stewart.com for a variation on this design

  • i would so rather sew than tape a whole t shirt!!ha ha a sewing maching would be way faster!

  • i would so rather sew than tape a whole t shirt!!

  • i would sooo rather sew than yake the time to tape a whole shirt!

  • awsuuuummmmmmm! sooooooooo going to try this :)

  • All these people are like not really getting the point sure it won't really help save the polar bears but it's something fun to do! WhAt's wrong with having fun???

  • how can you not know who the face is on the bag?!?!

  • now to find my scotch tape DAMN!!!!!!!1

  • Amazing!!

  • lol @ "going green" and "recycling". They're wasting so much oil, resources and money in general with the duck tape, the staples and squeaking around. And look at how convinced they are. Sure, the idea is cool. But other than having something special to show off with, it's just a joke.

  • Every time I do this, the design on my tshirt ends up on the side of the bag and not the front. What am I doing wrong?

  • @MindyTwinkle because u shud turn ur shirt inside out 1st and d duck-tape supposed to b on d inner side of the shirt.. so when you finished..ur gonna turn d bag inside out again right? thats when u will c d design on the outside of the bag :)

  • You can buy the dollar store duct tape much cheaper.

  • The beautiful face of .... I don't know who that is. LMFAOOO

  • nice

  • Comment removed

  • tried it.(:

    and it's really cool.

but it only holds a little bit of stuff!!

  • @xAlexaXSupermac18x you should probably use an eeven bigger t shirt if you want a bigger bag!!

  • @xAlexaXSupermac18x Tehe Supermac18 XD I got his autograph! XD

  • @SuperMac18ROX33 i used to live near him but i moved to california! and he messaged me on youtube and said he noticed me.(: and sometimes i should come up and say hi & take a picture.(:

  • If I used all that duct tape, ,my dad would murder me. "Use this as a bag." Uhm, just buy a dollar tote bag from a grocery store. =/

  • what eff i dont use tape?? do i really have to use the tape??

  • Duct tape isn't cheap. It's a cute idea but in the end would cost more than just buying a ready made bag.

  • this is awesome.

@ iSK4forFUN you can change the duct tape with garbage bag.

  • what is this i dont even..

  • Awesome concept.... can't believe she doesn't know Marilyn Monroe... how did she get on TV?

  • I would try it but without the tape & the staples.

  • Cool

  • Ha ha. When I saw the title I thought it would be like a grab bag full of t-shirts or something, but no, this is definitely a t-shirt bag.

  • that was soooo.. AWESOME HHAHAHA

  • Hey I have that Marilyn Monroe Shirt! lol I like this idea but I still wear my shirt so I dont want to chop it up but I might just do this with other shirts. Thanks for posting this

  • okay that dam bag gone rip when you put some in it!

  • With all of the stuff that I put in my purse those flimsy staples would never hold.

  • WHY the duct tape? Have they not heard of Threadbanger?

  • This is silly....and yes you would spend more buying the tape even if you went to the dollar store as what iSKATEforFUN wrote!

  • this coming from someone who used to make duck tape creations try to stay away from colored duck tape if your on a budget its usually about 5 or 6 dollars a roll plus the occasional mistake and if the duck tape sticks to its self its safer to buy silver duck tape although not as pretty

  • There was really no need to duct tape the whole thing... watch GiannyL's tutorial

  • yea those staples wont hold. and eventually the tape will ware off.

  • i used a stapler to "hem" my dress, haha

  • @terradawn72

    really?howd it turn out?

  • @Elaina613 it held for a while, a long while actually. I needed a quick fix to a dress I was needing hemmed. I gave the dress to my cousin and she laughed so hard when she seen my bs hemming job, haha. She hemmed it with needle and thread.

  • @HarvestMoonZooTycoo Haha. That's what happened to me.

The bag came out all shitty. lmfao

  • Here's a helpful tip:

You don't really need to tape the whole bag.

Just the parts that you staple.

When you cover duct tape for the whole bag...It makes it all stiff.

Just let it hang loose. [It looks better that way] :)

  • i am gonna try this!!! it is sooooo cute!!!

  • i love this idea!

  • wow

  • Thats really fricken cool.. i bet it would break really easy though. well maybe not. but the duct tape might peel a bit.

  • this is more of a hobo bag if you ask me....

why not just use a t-shirt and not duct tape???

and HECK no this is not recycling!!!

  • @Ilovevulpix17 TRUEEE!!!!

  • i dont think the staples would keep it together for long o-o

    but nice video =D

  • @tinkabell419 The duct tape helps keep the staples in place.

Even if they don't staple :)

  • What was the name of the book? I didn't hear them say it.

  • SOOOOOO CUTE!!!! I am going to try and make this rite now

  • duct tape comes in "like a hundred different shades"????

  • @silverbracelet6 haha duct tape comes in like 12 colors i was like NOT IT DOES NOT COME IN HUNDRED DIFFERENT SHADES!

  • @silverbracelet6 yes it does

  • @silverbracelet6 i ve seen one shade..lol..
