OneRepublic shouldn't be getting mixed up with mainstream pop these days. Ryan can actually sing, VERY EXTREMELY well, and the band has true talent. The thing that makes a mainstream pop song, is if it has a certain thing that appeals to the listener. Now lots of annoying pop artists these days have songwriters that create catchy melodies that hook on to people, OneRepublic writes awesome melodies too. But the raw, natural talent that these guys have should demolish those annoying pop artists.
