one of the best movies ever made.

for me its better than goodfellas, already 15 years ago ive talked often about whit friends which is the better one. even if the storyline is a lil bit similair and even if the cast is almost the same, the acting is quite perfect, and in my opinion its de niros best role ever.

It seems that mostly younger people like Goodfellas more then casino and adults likes casino more then goodfellas.

Casino is obviously more pretentious in my opinion.

casino is a little bit better becuase joe plays a much more supporting character then he did goodfellas, also ray liottia always seemed out of place in goodfellas 2 me (i dont know, maybe because he was the only actor in the movie that did not have mobster look). all commentery by nicky during some of the shots were funny

I didn't care so much for this film when I first saw it. I almost fell asleep. Can't remember if I were 12 or 13... I think I was 13. I don't really like Scorseses Maffia movies (except Mean Streets, that movies was OK) plus Raging Bull. I prefer Taxi Driver and Cape Fear.

Disagree, Casino tries to one-up Goodfellas in terms of violence and shock factor, but just comes off as over the top.

I'm forced to say that you're not a real Scorsese fan unless you realize Goodfellas is better than Casino.
