Just to lets you guys know, the deadliest snake in the world is the Black Mamba, due to it's lethal combination of speed and aggressiveness.

Nonetheless, the most venomous snake in the world is the Inland Taipan.

@halflife91 Wrong on both counts. Hydrophis Belcheri is the most venomous snake in the world and Daboia Russlli is the most dangerous. Look it up if you think Im wrong.

I was under the impression that th sea snake had stronger venon however as it's fangs are set back into it's mouth and are shorter that the fangs of land based snakes, it's deadliness was downgraded. So of the land based snakes the Inland Taipan was the deadliest.

@donster660 I believe your impressions are correct, for there is a more venomous called Hydrophis Belcheri also known as the Belcher's sea snake and it's the most toxic snake in the world. It's is a more docile snake than the Inland Taipan and because of that the Inland Taipan gets labeled as most venomous. I guess you can call the Inland Taipan worlds most dangerous snake.
