  • So many stupid things come from Darwinian evolution. Even becoming old. In that sense. I think JOhn Piper's a great example of how to be old. THE SAME! Its all about Jesus. You're suposed to grow in him not in your morning and evening body.

  • Though you may not agree, I may not necessarily agree however, what he is saying about darwinian evolution to make his point is true because that is what they teach in public school systems anyway. No wonder why are children have a hard time understanding God.

  • oh my goodness. . . i am only 6 min in and I am doing some serious eye rolling! My girlfriend wants me to watch this sermon and the one on biblical manhood, but I cant stand this guy already! Come on, youth group is not biblical, age segregated sunday school comes from secular school, and the secular school segregates by age because of darwinian evolution??? even if that were true it is bad why??? Oh boy. . . it is going to be a long couple of sermons. . .

  • @XHaroldXI

There may be some truth to what he is saying. Much of the public school system is structure under socialism/communism look up Dr. Iserbyt on Youtube called Dumbing Down of America.

  • @iamaksd But why is that a bad thing? How it the world are 12th graders and 1st graders supposed to learn in the same classroom??? Segregation is not always a bad thing. . . As far as youthgroups not being biblical, niether are cars or cell phones, but I think those are ok, no? We live in a different time, a time with a different social structure, and we need to realise that.

  • @XHaroldXI

Let's think about it, years before I was even born, children were taught under 1 teacher of different age brackets. I have a friend who homeschool her children, they may have different grade curriculum however she is teaching all of them at the same time. Is it possible to do that, yes it is.

  • @iamaksd I was homeschooled for seven years, so I understand what you are saying. But those situations are not efficient (very small scale). Most parents do not have the time or percived skill to homeschool thier children. In a regular school environment we now have way more students to teach. In a school of 700+ students it is simply not efficient to teach classes of mixed grade levels. Nor is it efficeint to train teachers to be able to teach all ages and grades.

  • @XHaroldXI

How would you say most parents donot have the percived skill? My friend teaches all of children. Does she have a teaching degree? No. In most public schools in many areas are becoming overcrowded which means more likely students who need to help and attention will lack.

  • @iamaksd I'm sorry you did not understand what I was saying. What I meant when I said most parents do not have the percieved skill was this: Most parents do not believe they are able, for lack of skill/ability, to homeschool thier children. And some parents quite frankly dont. (Alot of parents really shouldn't have had children for that matter. . .) As far as schools not giving the required attention to kids, that is a problem that changing/removing the entire school system will not alleviate

  • @XHaroldXI

Ok, yeah, I can see that now. Some parents probably just don't have the confidence to do it and fear that they will not do a good job in teaching their children.

  • @XHaroldXIWHY? Look up on youtube about the issues of public school as a whole and a former US Dept of Education professional under the Reagan Administration will explain about the school system.

  • This is why the black community is behind because of these outdated beliefs on patriarchy and the role of women. Black people and Christians need to apply their beliefs within the new paradigm in society. The simple truth is that it now takes two incomes for a husband and wife to make it. Secondly, why are men like him afraid to dialogue with their wives and talk over with them about decisions? What is it about a women who is her own person that threatens him?

  • @2Baiforev This is God's plan, which is not subject to change. It does not take two incomes for a husband and a wife to make it. It takes two incomes to live like "normal" people do nowadays; seeking after bigger houses, nicer cars, etc. Even as prices rise, if we sought first God's kingdom we wouldn't need the things that cost so much money. The main job of parents are to raise godly children. The price of that is their life, not 50-100K / year.

  • @2Baiforev I can keep going on and on, but the fact of the matter is, God does not change, neither does His law change, or His system of doing things. We as Christians do NOT apply culture to our beliefs, we apply our belief to the culture. The culture is not supposed to influence the church, the church influences the culture. Also, if you look at other videos of Dr. Baucham, you see that he isn't afraid of women being their own people. He is in fact very much a fan of it.

  • @2Baiforev Lastly, we as black people need to go back to our biblical roots, not stray away from them. Don't rely on your understanding. Fear God. He's not trying to cramp your style, or make your life difficult. He knows what's best, and He wants what's best for you. Follow Him with your whole heart. Isaiah 55:8-9.

  • Voddie Baucham is definitely an awesome teacher!!

  • Well, I'm a Christian man and I find any ideology denying equal rights for men and women per se disgusting. Genuinely disgusting.

  • @NotOnlySelfLover I agree you as a woman. Jesus had a lot of women followers and liberated a lot of women.

  • @2Baiforev Well, thank God, literally :) I hope you are happy in Jesus without all that crap. Lots of, especially young, women I know are. I'm generally always amazed how Christians a) are genuinely convinced they can set themselves beyond the progress of time and b) honestly believe this to be a good idea.

  • I loved this sermon so much! It was fantastic! My four year old sister sat through the whole thing with me.

  • God does not need your church. Read the bibles of men all you want. That will not save you. Nothing you do can save you. Memorize, attend and abstain from whatever you want. That will still not save you. Only Christ himself.

  • "The seperation of the genders into women's prayer groups and men's prayer groups has its orgins in the feminist infiltration of the Church."

I don't see what feminism has to do with separating the men from the women during prayer, that's all. Islam does it too, and not because of feminism but chauvinism.

  • @ThusFar777 The Bible doesn't advocate for separating men and women in church groups; instead, it says that women should be silent in church.

  • @PlaceBoInternational

...within a specific context at a specific time to a specific group of people to address a specific problem that was happening at that specific time.

    Try reading in context.

  • "Age-separated- group" type services is an American thing. Most of foreign Christian who come to USA get into confusion and questions, because such things ( kids church, youth pastor, etc) simply does not exist in their native countries.

  • The seperation of the genders into women's prayer groups and men's prayer groups has its orgins in the feminist infiltration of the Church.

  • @DumblyBrilliant

Any power even G-d scares men dose it not?

  • @DumblyBrilliant can you qualify that statement please?

  • @ThusFar777 Which statement would like qualified?

  • let no human be submissive to another is what he should be preachin

  • @superrain1982

Why should he be preaching that?? When the bible clearly states that submission in important. Children should submit to their parents. Wives submit to their husband, as Christ submits himself to God. Husbands submit themselves to the athority of God.

  • what the heck is this dude talking about, i really dont understand what he's trying to say he's talking out of his ass.LOL

  • @superrain1982 So. Would it be fair to say that you are in the dark concerning these things?

  • Dis is DEEP and powerful

But theres only one thing I aint certain about

is Vaudie saying that churches shudnt have Sunday schools and youth groups tho ? :S

  • This is good stuff!!! ALL WIVES AND ALL WOMEN SHOULD HEAR AND HEED THIS!!

  • I am a church planter with NAMB in Louisiana. His sermons are very insightful and he motivates me to be a better expositor.

  • Poor thing. It knows it is defeated. Not will be defeated. Jesus rose with ALL POWER. It doesn't matter how many paragraphs and poems you write satan has already been defeated! You will bow down and proclaim that Jesus Christ is LORD!

  • Rock on.

  • I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. (Rev.1:8)

  • As for Titus 2 vs 3 the bible is not just referring to married women teaching the younger married women. Even any young woman that is not a novice in the word of God can disciple another. Even the Bible says a child can lead. He is taking it too far our of context.

  • I am so grateful there is someone out there that is preaching truth. I encourage every woman out there to listen to this series.

  • I have just been introduced to this amazing man. He has a heart like God's, a heart for righteous living (separate and be holy as God calls us). I love how this man goes against the flow of our church culture and speaks out. I can't wait to get some of his preaching. How refreshing!!!

  • This is great. Dr. Baucham is one of my new favorite preachers!

  • He went deep on this one... wow.

  • AMEN!!! Keep preaching the truth!

  • The whole world is full of genocide slavery sexism, homophobia, and racism, even in regions where there is little or no christianity. Don't go blaming christianity for the worlds problems.

  • Can you prove it?

  • The Inquisition, Manifest Destiny in the age of Colonialsm, The Crusades...

    Can you disprove it?

  • Whose will was that that this occured?

  • Christian man's will. Who else?

  • To follow Christ isn't to abide by the will of christian man but to abide by the will of God.

Stepping on a football field and putting on a football uniform doesn't make me a football player anymore than claiming christianity makes me a christian.

There are historical documents of people whom saw Jesus rise and Christ is still denied in spite of everything He says coming to pass.

    Holocaust is also being denied.

Overwhelming evidence of the truth does not force people to believe it.

  • Not sure what your point is.

shf84 said, "I'm not blaming Christianity for the world's problems. I am saying, Christianity is one of them."

This is in agreement with what you just told me. I'm not affirming or disproving the existence or goodnes of God. I'm just agreeing that Christianity (the institution)is one of many problems.

  • Following Christ and claiming christianity are not neccessarily mutually exclusive.

Doing satan's will and then claiming christianity does not make God's followers the problem.

  • excellent point pop...people go to church on sunday then for the other six days they participate in sinful acts and then claim to be holy and sanctified lol.

  • Everyone sins... by what means do we reach salvation?

  • Fair enough for you. The rest of the world has no time to figure out who is who. You're both Christians, and some of you guys are mean bastards.

  • Fair enough, but there are nasty people in every creed.

Christians aren't saved by our own works but by our trust and faith in Jesus Christ but as a result of our trust and faith in Christ we should quite naturally desire to be more like Him.

No matter how hard we try we will always miss the mark as long as we're human.

  • Oh really? Shf84 said that? That settles it then.

  • What are you talking about. Did you take my statement out of context on purpose? Or do you not know how to read?

  • No, I don't know how to read. That's why I'm typing RIGHT NOW. It's interesting that a scoffer of the Bible would talk about taking things out of context.

  • What do I know? You could have voice recognition software.

Anyway, if you could read you would have noticed that I never "scoffed" the bible. I "scoffed" some christians, like yourself.

Besides, your logic is flawed. I can "scoff" something without taking it out of context. Like tax policy. I can "scoff" the tax policy of a politician without taking him/her out of context.

So as I said, did you take my statement out of context on purpose? Or do you not know how to read?

  • Yeah, I can't read. And I don't have a computer. No habla ingles. The logic is only flawed when taken out of context and/or misunderstood.

  • Couldn't agree more.

    No podría convenir más.

Je ne pourrais pas convenir davantage.

    Ich könnte nicht mehr zustimmen.

  • Voddie, I am brought to tears with conviction everytime I hear you speak. I love the messages you share, you are honest and truthful!

  • Amen.

    God bless you Voddie.
