This was shown on TV in Croatia back in the early 90's. That was war time. There was a poll and they asked: "If you could choose between end of the war and end of Santa Barbara, what would you choose?". More people said "Santa Barbara".
I hated this show when i was a kid because if i remember correctly, it came on the same time as sesame street or mr rogers.. i just hated it because my mother had to watch it and i couldnt watch my shows lol
What is up with all these soaps getting axed??? Started off with the cancellation of SB, then my mom's FAV soap, Another World...gone in June '99. THEN, As The World Turns, (also liked by my mom) and Guiding Light. (my AUNT'S fav soap) NOW they've axed All My Children AND One Life to Live. Jesus Christ, all we've got left now, is Days, Y&R, and General Hospital. How long before THOSE get axed, too? One can only wonder. Daytime television DEF won't be the same, ever again. :P
Hahaha, I saw the first "erotic" scene in my life in this soap, when a Mexican guy kissed (could also be raped, cause I was very afraid) a girl in a cave.
My father also used to call my grandma on the phone when there was something dramatic hapenning to make fun of how she tried to hide that she was crying. She is his mother-in-law btw. ;)

I loved this show but in St. Louis, the NBC affiliate loiked to shuffle it around move it all the time. Originally it was on at 2 pm, then 3 pm, then 10 am, then 3 am for the last year it was on.
Yes why.But the best thing to a soap opera is to end as soon as possible.Cruz and Eden left.Actor who played Mason was replaced by another one.Everything was probably different without them.
