Jumpit11...Why are you purposly looking at this dogs testicles? They are black enough you wouldnt need to notice them. Besides why fix a dog because you dont like a natural part of any male species? perhaps we should have your nuts cut (if your a male) because of your latter against dog testicles :)

Is it the ears alone that upsets you? I don't think cropping is part of the standard for most breeds that do it. It just becomes a matter of what's popular in different countries. Personally I like these dogs better with natural ears.

Wonder why isnt popular here in Spain... perhaps is not the prettiest of the breeds, but their virtues are mental, atonishig in the "raport" with their owner. Definetely not for close little urban place far from grass or nature. Either not staying long time alone, too love for familly. Its a rustic dog, not toy type.
I understand they are supposed to be "hairless Briards," but I just don't see it. How close in temperament are they to Bries? I have had 3 Briards now, two who were a little too over-protective and one that is just a charmer (she is 11 now, from the Czech Republic, and just the best dog I've ever had--excels in obedience, urban mushing/carting, agility, herding--you name it). Also, do Beaucies have the same health issues Briards do?

They are very intelligent and where used when breeding the Rottweiler and Dobbermann. So its a very old dog breed!
