  • Wenn ich mir einen anschaffen wollte, wo müßte ich da suchen? Ich meine nicht Ebay! Danke schon mal für die Antwort!

  • what drum machine have you connected it to? would it work with an 808 trigger?

  • How do I sync my poly6?

  • der polysix ist schon fetter als so mancher denkt! aber scheiß battery.

  • @unknowntomillions

    das stimmt!

Möchte nicht wissen wie vielen P-6 der ausgelaufene Akku schon das Leben gekostet hat.

  • MARCO ROCKS!!!!!

  • Hi Marco, was wondering when you would get a polysix! Excellent demo as always, you make us all jealous...as always..:):):)

It sounds a bit warmer than a juno, would you agree? The 2 oscillators do sound different, and the pwm sounds very nice. A true classic. I have the korg legacy polysix, but never use it, sounds just like every other soft synth:(

  • @mik300z

Hi Mick, thanks a lot. The Polysix sound is more lush than the Juno, more like a old stringmachine. The phaser and ensemble effects are fantastic for soft strings like Solina. The Juno is much more agressive and the bass is deeper. The sound is very different but I like both. When you can find a Polysix without battery leakage for a good price , buy it! cheers

  • This is a six-voice, two-oscillator synth. In unisono-mode (like you hear it here) there are 12 oscillators stacked and detuned for every single note. He is using the onboard 'ensemble' effect on this too.

  • mmm can't get that sound from a plugin/digital synth...

  • @510ohNO

Korg Legacy Collection but its not the same

  • @BaumDerProllige

  • Thanks again for a great demo. Does the synth exist that you haven't tested? :-)

  • @flimbosquest yes so many...

but I test only synths that I like ;)

    thank you

  • Great synth Marko...

My father had one back in the day...

I asked him where it was a couple of years ago and he said he threw it in the trash ...I was devistated. :(

Now I can only use the Korg Legacy collection.

    Cheers

  • @RRKS69

  • @retrosound72 thanx nature for meeting you... :) keep on buddie!!

  • Der Polysix hat aber einen fetten Sawsound! Alle Achtung!

  • @OriginalBBQMaster

Ja der macht richtig schön Druck.

  • how do you trigger polysex arp? i got simple audio2s-trig converter, to trig my poly-61. i doesnt work that well, but i try trigger it with mfb adrs module with no decay and its work fine. is it safe to do that?

  • @kuopionpoliisi

I use the 808 CB trigger out to sync the TR with the P-6 arpeggiator

  • I approve of this synthesizer!! Awesome sound right there! ELECTRONIC!!!

  • Great like always :)

    Thumbs up ! :)

  • @Shadow432643

    thank you :)

  • Cool Synthie

  • this is big mac fat

  • how fat is this ?! simply turning just a knob and bam faaaat...

turning another and the sound becomes a huge monster !!!

    these old machines are fantatstic.

big up for youre uploads : )

  • @zinkelzonkel

    this is real analog ;)

    thx

  • @retrosound72 adopme pliiiiiis! :D

  • @famadj

    ;-)

  • Did you replace the battery?

  • @PimpinBassie2

yes immediately after receipt. no leakage problem. I replace the old accu with a CR2032 lithium cell and battery holder.

  • @PimpinBassie2 Thats a terrible problem and must be dealt with immediately... I lost my poly 61 to a battery leak : (

  • That's a phat ass sound.

  • @metabog

    yes very fat

also for me a surprise when first playing

  • Wow that sounds so good. Is the low frequency coming from the sub osc? And is the audio EQ'd?

  • @rde900

no EQ used, this is the oure sound

the Polysix has enough low end with the sub osc.

  • @retrosound72

No EQ? No way. Damn that sounds goooooood. They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
