I am pretty sure that you need a 4/4 full size violin, though you always want to check the longness of your arm well left hand arm, umm, check to see when you try out the violin or put on next to your neck, if you can nearly touch the tip of the bow passing through the D string, if you arm sores or goes on pain, too long, and so on, and so later

im sure yu'll need a full size... (im 15 and 1.64 metres...) but wen yu go to the shop they shud be able to help yu out!
