I love this performance, I love the impromptu setting, Noel with his coat on, the papers and coffee cup on the desk, the guitar on the floor. Noel's isolation from the other people in the room, he looks exhausted and ill. He is singing for himself, totally unselfconsciously. He is singing about hurt and pain in his life.
