@1. The Ashura has been abundantly discussed by the Prophet s.a.w.a. in relation to some Quranic verses revealed for the tragedy of Karbala. In Surah Fajr, there is an allusion to the ten nights of muharram and the Nafsi mutmainna which has been revealed for Imam Husain a.s.

The Shia say that Imam must be appointed by God; that appointment may be known through the declaration of the Prophet or the preceding Imam. The
Sunni scholars say that Imam (or Caliph, as they prefer to say) can be either elected, or nominated by the preceding Caliph, or selected by a committee, or may attempt to gain the power through a military coup (as was in the case of Muawiyah).
Then why this is not the case today? Why do all wahabi saudi kings have to be from the same bloodline?
These debates / discussions between Shi'a and Sunni, Muslims and Christians, Jews and atheists, Christians against Christians, between other religions, if analyzed properly, will show that the issue is the legislative authority of Allah s.w.t. to select / choose people for His bounties to lead the people to the Right Path.
All the the people who perished / destroyed in the past and up to the end of this world challenged the legislative authority of Allah s.w.t..
and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allâh) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping. 19:58
Then of them are some who wrong their ownselves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by Allâh's Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Qur'ân), that is indeed a great grace. 35:32
Those were they unto whom Allâh bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nûh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrâhim (Abraham) and Israel
Objection: What justifies the adding of 'alayhis salam after the names of the family of the prophet s.a.w.a. ?
Reply:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Praise and thanks be to Allâh, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allâh better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allâh is Better). 27:59
Then We gave the Book the Qur'ân) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose (the followers of Muhammad SAW).
But We gave her glad tidings of Ishâque (Isaac), and after him, of Ya'qûb (Jacob).
She said (in astonishment): "Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!"
They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allâh? The Mercy of Allâh and His Blessings be on you, O the family [of Ibrahîm (Abraham)]. Surely, He (Allâh) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious." 11:71-73 Also refer to 62:2-4
Objection: Agreed that Ali a.s., Fatima a.s., Hasan a.s. and Husain a.s. were among the Ahl al Bayt a.s. who were present with the Prophet s.a.w.a. when 33:33 was revealed, How could the other imams be included in the purified ones when they were not yet born at that time?
Reply:
And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed (either, because the Messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lout (Lot).
Objection: The members of the Ahl al Bayt a.s. like Hasan a.s. and Husain a.s. were still young and therefore could not be more knowledgeable in Islam than the older sahabas of the Prophet s.a.w.a..
Reply:
"He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allâh, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;" 19:30
"And Salâm (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!" 19:33
he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink. 23:33
"If ye obey a man like yourselves, behold, it is certain ye will be lost. 23:34
Their names were the most prominent among the names mentioned by Adam a.s. to the angels upon the order of Allah s.w.t..
He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" 2:33
The act of opposing the Ahl al Bayt a.s.may be likened to the objections of the unbelievers, both jinn and man, to the prophets of Allah s.w.t.
(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." 15:33
And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves,
And surely, We have explained [Our Promises, Warnings and (set forth many) examples] in this Qur'ân that they (the disbelievers) may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion. 17:41
nd Allâh has set forth an example for those who believe, the wife of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), when she said: "My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in Allâh). 66:11
And indeed We have put forth every kind of example in this Qur'ân, for mankind. But, man is ever more quarrelsome than anything.
And blood relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allâh (regarding inheritance) than (the brotherhood of) the believers and the Muhajirûn (emigrants from Makkah, etc.), except that you do kindness to those brothers (when the Prophet SAW joined them in brotherhood ties). This has been written in the (Allâh's Book of Divine) Decrees (AlLauh AlMahfûz)."
Allah made as examples the wives of Nuh a.s. and lut a.s. who disobeyed their husbands.
Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is!
36:82
The wives of the Prophet p.b.u.h.a.f. were called the mothers of the believers (36:6) to prevent anyone in whose heart there is a disease 36:32) from marrying them after the Prophet p.b.u.h.a.f.
The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives are their (believers') mothers (as regards respect and marriage).
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are AlFawâhish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allâh for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allâh of which you have no knowledge."
In all the verses concerning the wives of the Prophet p.b.u.h.a.f., from verse 28 to 34, feminine pronouns and verbs were used. They are given the choice to obey or disobey, with a promise of huge reward to only the good doers amongst them and a severe punishment if they commit shameful deeds.
Their houses(plural) were mentioned while those purified lived in one house(singular)
Aside from the physical purity of the Ahl al Bayt a.s., they are purified with all major and minor sins.
i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk). 29:33.
The verse of purification is not alone as far as its present position is concern.
The perfection of religion, 5:3, is included in the verse talking about the prohibited meats/animals while it was revealed at Ghadir khum during the last hajj of the Prophet p.b.u.h.a.f.
Likewise, 5:67 is among the verses talking about the people of the scripture while it was also revealed at Ghadir khum together with 5:3
does not automatically makes her purified, sinless and saved.
Walamma an jaat rusuluna lootan see-a bihim wadaqa bihim tharAAan waqaloo la takhaf wala tahzan inna munajjooka waahlaka illa imraataka kanat mina alghabireena
And when Our Messengers came to Lout (Lot), he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind (
O members of the family (of the Prophet SAW), and to purify you with a thorough purification. 33:33
All the objections regarding the fact that the Ahl al Bayt a.s. are the ones intended to in the verse of purification are answered by Qur'anic verses that number 33 and 133 of the different chapters and other verses of the Qur'an.
1. Were not the wives of the Messenger p.b.u.h.a.f . included in the verse of purification?
The answer is No. Being a wife of a messenger of Allah s.w.t.
And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salât (IqamâtasSalât), and give Zakât and obey Allâh and His Messenger. Allâh wishes only to remove ArRijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you,
It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-
As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise.
Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will:
And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!
rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.
They are the believers commanded by Allah in 22;77-79.
O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper.
A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge.
They are the mominoon mentioned in 3:164.
Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves,
and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
"Our Lord! send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." 2:128-129
The Ummatan Muslimatan is the Ummatan wasata in 2:143
Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations,
Allah s.w.t. taught it to His Messenger p.b.u.h.a.f..
"He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,-
"Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 72:26-27
The Messenger p.b.u.h.a.f. taught it to the Ummatan Muslimatan> "Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will);
0R A IMMATAL KUFR 9:12 AND A IMMATAN YAD 'UUNA ILANNAAR 28:41
Where is the misinterpretation?
KNOWLEDGE OF THE UNSEEN..
The knowledge of the unseen belongs to Allah alone.
With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered),
A prophet receives a wahi from Allah s.w.t.. A messenger delivers the wahi and an imam guides others by the command of Allah.
A prophet is always on the right path. Whereas an imaam may be an imaamil muttaqeen 25:74, a immatan yahduu na bi amrinnaa 21:73 and 32:24, an imaam appointed by Allah after passing the tests while already a prophet and messenger 2:124, an imaamim mubeen 36;12 or an imaam who will give the records of his followers in their right hands 17:71.
and if he be a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies! 40:28
Why attribute the view of kisan to the 12 imaamers?
The sunnis are the maliki, hanafi, shafi i and hanbali sects while the wahabis are the followers of muhammad abdul wahab.
A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord?
Many SHIA converts to SUNNI are well background in Shia AQEEDAH.... see EX-SHIA in youtube... MOSTY ARABIC PEOPLE WHO CONVERTED TO SUNNI BECAUSE THEY LEARNED THAT THE TEACHING OF SHIITES ARE NOT TRUE TEACHING OF ISLAM.. SO MANY VIDEO OF SHIITES THAT I WATCHED ITS JUST LIKE THEY PRACTICE EVIL, CULT, SINGING, DANCING BEATING CHEST, SELF FLAGELLATION/MUTALATION AND EVEN THEIR AYATOLLAH/IMAMS DELIVERING KUTBA TALK LIKE OUT OF THIER MIND... THEY ARE DOING THINGS, LIKE DID IN THE TIME OF IGNORANCE...
Allah appointing the Prophets as Imams not the (12) Imams that the Shia'tul Ra'afidah claiming... For us Sunni believes that the Aimah, Imamah, and Imam were in the Quran but it refers to the Prophets, Books and Road! This debate is a none sense debate!
The Imams you are claiming have nothing to do if they are not Prophets. Atty. Abenal was just miss interpreting the Quran hence he is not an Arab nor Quranist to translate the real meaning of Quran... Quran has it's deep meaning and that Ayah in which Prophet Muhammad revealed was the Story of the past Prophets not the Story of the Shiites Imam. He gave the meaning of the verse in which the verse are far from its roots. His explanation is not sufficient and baseless. It's a non sense debate!
Speaking of Tradition and Culture... A CULTURE AND TRADITION limits only to a Country. Why the SELF FLAGELLATION/MUTALATION of the SHIITES found in PAKISTAN, IRAQ, IRAN, LEBANON, SYRIA, AZERBAIJAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES where Shiites present. Can you say that these Countries are the same CULTURE AND TRADITIONS? I DON'T THINK SO! That's another way of Taqiyyah! hahahaha!
self flagellation ,matam & other mddle eastern shia's practices were only adoptted by the shias outside middle east !
like I.B.P.& EUROPEAN SHIAS!
so being a filipino it's up to me ! its not includes in shia akheda teachings... infact you can find historicaly hints & traces from you sunni sahih? hadiths!
So what is the use of being a Shia? You are neglecting the tradition of the Shia... How could you prove that you are really a Shia if you follow some and do not follow the other. Siguro Hilaw ka na Shia. hahahaha! See What Shiites doing during Ashura in some other Country? They are doing Self Mutalation/Flagellation... for your information!
i dont think our hadith contradicts where in fact the only aunthentic hadith is Bukhari and Muslim etc. we refer only thoer hadiths and there are no contradictions... I am confident that your Ahadiths has thousand of contradictions? where is the Mushaff Fatima? until now we did not read its contents. Maybe Al Kafi and Hukomatul Islamia book you only have. non sense!
We don't depends on Peshawar Nights because it was fabricated.... hence all the Debaters on the Sunni side is not wellknown Sunni on that area and no one Sunni can confirm even in the area of venue can attested that the Peshawar Nights happened. We know that Shia is the Great Lier and Fabricating issue always... Maasalam...
even if Peshawar Nights was fabricated its all still facts all those Qur'an verses and Hadith is still truee so whats it matter if its fabricated or not? you sunni's neglect your own hadith and call uss liars?? say we fabricate stuff?? go read all your hadith and tell me if it makes sense when they contridict each other man but its all authentic weird...
[7] "Obedience to `Ali is true humility and disobedience to him is disbelief in Allah" (Al-Kafi vol.10 p.54)
[8] "Whoever sets up another Imam besides `Ali and delays `Ali's caliphate is a polytheist" (Al-Kafi vol.10 p.55)
[9] Sahabah (R.H) became infidel by denying the divine right (Wilayat) of Hazrat Ali. First three caliph and other Sahabas became infidel by denying the divine right of (Wilayat) of Hazrat Ali. (Al Kafi, Page No. 420)
[2] Sharaf'Deen AbdulHussain Mosawy said: "Al-Kafi, AlIsTibSaar, AlTahzeeb and Mun La YahduRuHu Alfaqeeh are *MutawaTirah* and agreed on the accuracy of its contents (the Hadiths) , and Al-Kafi is the oldest , greatest , best and the most accurate one of them " . [The book of AlMuraja'aat , Muraj'ah number 110 ] ..... MutawaTirah = accurate 100% because it was narrated by many narrators
some of the Shia most reliable Scholars' sayings about Al-Kafi :
[1] AlHur Al'amily said "The authors of the Four Books of shia (Al-Kafi , AlIstibsaar , AlTahzeeb , Mun La YahDuruHu Alfaqeeh) have testified that the Hadiths of their books are accurate (saheeh) , firm and well conducted from the roots that all shia agreed on , and if you consider those scholars (the authors of the four books) are reliable then you must accept their sayings and their narrations. [Alwasa'el , volume 20,page 104]
Alhamdulillah... ndi ko hahayaan ang mga kapatid ko Shia na tuloyan mapalayo sa May Kapal... hanapin mo ung kitab Al-Kafi ni Abu jaafar Muhammad bin yaqoub al-kulainy...
this is 100% truth that only,PROPHET MOHAMMAD&IMAMS possess complete knowledge of holy qur'an ,if some on else ,tell to the world .write down the name of that person.
your saying this hadith but wait...were not sunni's not all of this hadith is authentic because it contridicts so much other of all our hadith...when you want you research shia hadith research if its authentic or not...
its a non sense why are going to research your shia hadith we are not interested because we know that Shia hadith has full of fabrication and not authenticated. i don't think sunni hadiths has contradition...
Shia (Raafidah) they are praising their Imams equal to Allah! They claiming Hussain as their God or just guilty to what happend in Karbala because the Shia of Kufa were traitor to the family of Ali. They choose the money givin from Maawiyah than the family of Ali that claiming that they loved. See what Shia doctrine? 1. No one possess complete knowledge of Holy Qur'an except Imams. (Al Kafi, Vol. No. 1, Page No. 228)

They console themselves with being with the majority despite the clear verses of the Quran against relying solely on numbers or station in life.

Then We gave the Book the Qur'ân) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose (the followers of Muhammad SAW).

The act of opposing the Ahl al Bayt a.s.may be likened to the objections of the unbelievers, both jinn and man, to the prophets of Allah s.w.t.
(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." 15:33
And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves,

The Muslims do not reject the Prophet s.a.w.a. but by rejecting the authority of the Ahl al Bayt a.s. they reject the signs of Allah.
We know indeed the grief which their words do cause thee: It is not thee they reject: it is the signs of Allah, which the wicked contemn.
6:33
They recognise the favours of Allah; then they deny them; and most of them are (creatures) ungrateful. 16:83
Thus is the word of thy Lord proved true against those who rebel: Verily they will not believe. 10:33

They say, if guidance can be had only from the Ahl al Bayt a.s. after the Prophet s.a.w.a., It is racist, a dynasty and not allowed in Islam.
Is it true? The answer is NO
Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people,- 3:33
But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding. 2:105
For His Mercy He specially chooseth whom He pleaseth; for Allah is the Lord of bounties unbounded. 3:74

The verse of purification is not alone as far as its present position is concern.
The perfection of religion, 5:3, is included in the verse talking about the prohibited meats/animals while it was revealed at Ghadir khum during the last hajj of the Prophet p.b.u.h.a.f.

The Imams you are claiming have nothing to do if they are not Prophets. Atty.
