Sorry for the last comment. You are getting close, but at the first part you need to pick some notes, with some hammer-ons and pull-offs. The up-scale that comes next is difficult as hell. Just keep on practicing and play it the way it should be, yet you have to play it slower, and speed eventually will come and you will get it clear. Dime must be proud of everyone that is trying to shred like him.

its 12 15 18 across all six strings, which is just a symetrical pattern with no scale formula, but 12-15 and 15-18 is a diminished 3rd interval (i think, someone verify this?) and gives it the evil feel, with the symmetrical pattern making it sound even more off - kilter. The same interval is used in the main riff of the beautiful people by marilyn manson, although played on the bottom 3 strings on the 0-3-6 frets :D

Ey man i did a version of this today and i think i did that squeal you are talking bout... its really fukn hard to get it good because it is a harmonic on the 2nd fret of the g string (or as i play it the 14th fret on the g string). check it out anyways, ule like it :D

the tabs i saw tended to be wrong, especially for the first lick (the rest may be fine.) i think its more convenient to play it as follows:
