my friend a true blue singaporean whom i served ns with is a oil rig engineer and he says that singaporeans shun his job becos of the hardship although the pay is good. singaporeans are getting soft. pap bring in foreigners can but pap ministers do not deserve their high pay . bring in ft to suppress wages and keep economy competitive WAH SO SMART.

Honestly, I have nothing against foreigner in the blue collar industry. working hard building skyscrapers and keeping the country clean n green. S"poreans tend to shun these jobs too. But White Collar professional jobs are slipping out of the hands of Singaporeans. We are stabbing ourselves in the back. There will be set backs in the near future. Being Singaporean is just a fluid term and has no weight as foreigners live better then us.
