@Laury79 Quite wrong actually - the apple range of products have always been objects of passion for Fry. He purchases, uses and plays around with technology quite a bit. A sell out is someone who sells themselves for something they don't believe in just for money - Stephen Fry believes in this. Would you call celebrities who advocate the use of things they believe in (such as education, safe driving) sell outs?
Well of course never mind what he is saying because he is talking well about a Microsoft product. Many of you are obviosuly deafened by your hate and product loyalty. You all probably use the same shortsighted means of deciding on your politics.

Never heard of this guy, but he lost all credibility when he said he enjoyed using the Blackberry Torch.
I buy my computers and phones based upon specs and features. People who buy products based upon emotion are what we call idiots. He's describing the consumer who buys a car based upon the color and how comfortable the seat is as if that is a good thing. Lets hope that tech companies don't cater to the idiots he's describing.
@cool8man Specs and features are just tools for the whole experience, just as paint colour and material of a seat are tools for the experience of a car. I think you should lighten up :)
@cool8man You're polarising the message. Most people don't buy on specification, which is important, but the greatest influence on buying decisions is emotional. Whether this is brand loyalty, what colour it is, how it works, what it looks like, it's size and weight but rarely is functional specification is the top most reason. As for idiots, they form by far the biggest market sector and only a fool ignores an idiot.
