its a little tough to figure out at first...

you don't make the actual music in the vocaloid program, you will need another program for that. but you -can- import a midi which you can use to determine what notes she will sing (or you can set the notes manually as well)

to make her sing lyrics, you need to edit each note so that it contains a 'phonetic', like ra, ri, ru, etc, and you can link them together to make words. hard to explain in a youtube post really.. but i think there are tutorials

also, there is a lyric input mode, for lack of a better term... where if you know all the phonetic symbols for the whole song, and have it in notepad or whatever, you can copy/paste all the lyrics and it will try to assign them to the proper notes... but it doesnt always do a good job, so you may have to do it in blocks and fix parts that get broken (like it has problems when a phonetic carries over more than one note, like a long 'oooo' that goes over several notes)
