  • There is not NEARLY enough artists in this tribute

Where Tribe? Where's Pharcyde? This is nice but it really doesn't catch the enormity of the volume of his work, not to mention the variety and originality.

  • The greatest producer of all time. He put his music in front of his life, and you can tell that by the reputation he got. every hip hop soul in the world got a cd or a joint from Jay Dee, his legacy will never be forgotten. We miss you Dilla! Truly a legend! RIP

    Thanks dilla.

  • I've hated most of today's hip-hop (Except Common,Talib Kwali,The Roots,Kanye West and others that don't rap only about money and whores) until I saw people say RIP Jay Dee or J.Dilla on Myspace I looked for one of his songs and I heard "Two can win" I was hooked.

RIP Jay Dee and Thanks for changing my view of Hip-hop

  • lol, i wouldnt have kanye west in the same list as common, talib, and the roots

  • lol....I didn't think of it like that but Kanye is a good artist though (in my opinion)

  • kanye is talented along with rza, black milk, premo pete rock etc -but lets celebrate dilla yo - stakes is high (da la soul) is my favorite joint by him

  • dont cheat yourself out of hearing Little Brother and the entire STONES THROW crew. Dilla was wonderful, but there are SO many producers out there doing just as nice work.

  • this maybe true ,,jus not losing sight of dilla's work thats all

  • no doubt! :-)

  • touching

  • wow i miss em

  • everything you ever needed to know about hip hop you could hear in one dilla track

    RIP
