What is wrong with our country? Even things in my town Illinois aren't going that great. What is going to happen all the vacant buildings? What are we going to do? Aren't there solutions for fixing the economy?
@brettfoshager yes. buy from mom and pop stores from when at all possible. only new balance shoes - they actually have factories here, and search for other made in america products. it will take a lot of elbow grease. don't buy from walmart. become sustainable if possible.

When that hppens it's Hyper-inflation. Interest rates will go to 22% in attempt to control it and prices SKYROCKET! Only money that wil hold it's own will be gold and silver. I like these kind of videos because they tell the truth. It's dismal but it's also refreshing. Everything you get on the nightly news is just lies, lies, lies. CNBC, CNN, MSNBC, even PBS Nightly Business Report (supposed to be credible) are just fantasyland. Total koolaid drinkin' Unrealityville. It like the producers of MSM news are from some alternate universe where none of this exists--watching it gives you this really wierd disconnected feeling. This video, albeit bleak, restores my sanity.
Very nice videos groove. The situation is the same here in SW Florida, although most of the car companies and large retailers are still going. However, so many empty or near empty commercial developments, both old and new. Anyone who thinks the economy is recovering is insane. Keep up the good work and have a plan for when it really HTF.
Imagine if construction companies hired american workers, instead of illigal immigrants for cheap labor, the economy would have been somewhat better. If the government would protect the interest of american workers, the economy would have been solid. But Bush, and Obama administrations are economic terrorists.
Why were they building out there in that area? When I was living in Calif about 9 yrs ago, that was all mostly farming. What industry or job creation was going on there to warrant the building of new homes?
Hey groove... this very same scenario playing out in Reno, NV, even down-town Casino strip IS DEAD,, I mean Ghost-Town-DEAD, no tourists, just Bums & homelessness... compared to what it was 10 years ago, however Reno still has plenty of Police out in force generatIng FINES REVENUE for tha police-state. And isn't the TOYOTA Factory there at Freemont suppose to SHUT-DOWN later this month also?
