Hi, thanks for the tip. We were using a lamp, but it must not have worked that great. My old camera got stolen so I went out and bought a Sony Handycam, and we are still trying to figure out all of the settings and everything. I'm finding that taping with a camcorder is a lot different than it used to be with my other camera.

how do you de-pot a pencil?

I'll be doing a tutorial on that soon. Basically you hold the pencil with a pair of plyers over a container, and then use a hair dryer until the pencil oozes into the container.
